Comparison screenshots with "Before" tag are using the vanilla "centred recticle position". To tweak the weapon FOV, you will have to go to C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Far Cry 5 and edit the file gamerprofile.xml.
Edit the following parameters: CameraViewCenterOffsetY="-0.32" and CameraViewCenterOffsetX="0". Launch the game, and make sure to set Options > Gameplay > Reticle Position : Offset.
Note: This tweak will make the weapon even more visible, but, the crosshairs will be a little bit above the center. The only "fix" is to play without reticle. On the bright side, it will add more immersion!
