    Mod is moving out of BETA testing as it has proven to be stable now.

    Changed the mod to have an actual name (Far Cry 5 Redemption) and uploaded a version which has only the RP and Enemy Spawn changes.

    Will upload the other version with the additional changes soon.

    NOTE: there still seems to be an issue with some civilians spawning that the Peggies ignore. I believe this is because they were never meant to spawn when enemies were around (only spawning when a region is liberated). I'm still trying to research this. It doesn't seem to happen all that often so far.

    UPDATE: Hello all. Thank you for being patient while the mod is updated. Now that a new patch is out (hopefully the last for a long while) I am in the process of trying to update the mod.

    My gfx card is back and working as good as new (knock on wood) so I'll be able to actually play the game again myself.

    THANK YOU so much to everyone that supported, endorsed and/or donated for this mod. Your kindness is incredible and I appreciate it all so very, very much.

    UPDATE: Whelp Ubi dun gone and made another patch. Yeaaaa... just. what. I. was. hoping. for....

    So the last update made the mod HUGE to the point of damn near bursting Nexus file size limits. It took forever to upload and I had to stick it on google drive. (Old link below. Doesn't work for the new 1.11 patch)

    I'm going to try (fingers crossed) to make it work one more time, but honestly I have no idea if it will. The file size just might become unmanageable. We shall see. Keep checking here. If I can get it done this weekend I certainly will. Otherwise it will be done as soon as I can carve out the hours to do it.

    As an aside - 11 patches later and Ubi STILL can't take the hint that they really need to implement these two things as options in the game? I mean seriously. This is what the fan base wants. SMH. Can anyone confirm that they didn't somehow address this with 1.11? Seems like FC3 we had to wait for the very last patch months and months after support ended for the outposts to be able to be reset in the options. Something similar for FC4 1.09 or so patch but I can't remember what it was... something dumb, but it took for ever for it to be implemented.

    Add photo mode. Ignores outcry to slow down RP progression. Sigh. Put me out of a f*#@ing job already Ubi.

    UPDATE - hey guys sorry that I still haven't gotten an official 1.11 version, but I haven't been able to repack the new files :(

    The good (?) news is that you can still copy the last one over the 1.11 update and it apparently will work as several kind people have reported so the only thing you really lose out on are the additional blood dragon assets in arcade mode. For single player and coop it should work just fine.

    I'll continue to work on the files and see if I can get a new successfully repacked. Sorry for the delays. The patch file has kept growing and growing and I fear now it is simply too large for my PC to process :(

    from what i understand the resistance mod on fcmodding does he exact same thing and is also about 500mb ( give or take a couple of megabytes). this mod is beyond dead, the developers whole account appears abandoned. this is their most recently updated mod. 2018 was the last time he was heard from on nexus. plus if you have the time, the mod installer has a reward editor that covers the same areas once again. effectively all of his mods were completely outclassed by newer stuff that was smaller and a lot easier to use.

      Thanks for the heads up.  I ended up going there and downloading their mod.  It was pretty easy, and I was able to enable the Resistance Point fix which doubled the amount of RP for each region.  That's all I wanted, and it works great.

    Hi guys,
    I've noticed that my second weapon totally vanishes (don't have the third unlocked or I'd tell you about that) can someone help me? Is there something that I'm doing incorrectly? Thanks!

    I've put 141h durring my time on Xbox Console when this game came out, it is still and prob will be my all time fav game (even got the Eden's Gate tattoo) now that i transitioned to PC 2y ago i rebought the game to replay it in full glory and i gotta say THIS IS A MUST HAVE MOD for FC5, imo THIS is how the game core progression should have been, as i always felt it was way too fast and way to easy i completed areas with doing only 1-2 main missions and the rest was justnside stuff like silos and that never felt right to me, and this mod fixes that making it now a true Masterpiece to enjoy. Thank You for this mod!

    Will this work if you installed this game using Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, it's included Ubisoft+ PC games?.

    I have just started playing this doing Side Missions/Prepper Stash/Cult Outposts before doing Story Missions (hopefully not to miss anything in the game).

    Also, would anyone know if there's any texture mods that have upscaled the base textures to make them look better, the provided HD Texture Pack doesn't seem to look any different considering its 15GB size.

    I'd make one myself if I knew what tools I'd need to open and extract the games' textures so I can replace them then convert back into the correct format.

    I've seen something called reshade which can try create a HDR effect on SDR screens, but because I am playing this game on a OneXplayer 2 Pro, it comes with its own app pre-installed where you can adjust your display Vibrance, Brightness (which really is Contrast), Contrast (which really is Gamma) and default Brightness.

    But I think due to its LCD screen (I'm used to QOLED) it sort of improves the screens quality, giving an almost HDR feel, but I think it looses or doesn't have a feature to sharpen the display image (even if you use AMD's Radeon Image Sharpening @100%).

    The display still doesn't look crisp while playing with everything set to Ultimate/Max, HD Textures on and display resolution @2560x1600, the OneXplayer 2 Pro claims to be capable of running games visually 2K resolution or even just its display itself. But it (to me) just doesn't look sharp enough and edges seem soft/blurry.

    I know in theory this question would normally be better asking the OneXplayer folks, but considering they made this awesome powerful handheld gaming PC (which is by far, far better than the Steam Deck and ROG Ally), their product manual describing its buttons/functions and so called tech support, feels like your talking to a 5 year old).

    So I guess folks in the Modding Community may already know of any apps/tools for Windows 10/11 that can sharpen the display and any apps/tools so you can create actual HD Texture Packs.

      I think it does, because when I liberated an Outpost remained undetected I got $2000 reward which was one of the tweaks of this mod.

    MASSIVE improvement over the base game. Always found it weird that they improved the emergent gameplay and made combat so much more dynamic, but then shortened the game to a handful of engagements. With the mod the world feels much more alive and you're less of a terminator dismantling Eden's Gate within hours, having to actually seek out missions and new characters to get anywhere. Well done
