Yeah the game doesn't animate the legs in first person because you can't ever normally see them. If this really bothers you, you can use the optional file which leaves the viewmodel FOV alone.
Hi, I know i'm kinda late to the party but for some reason this mod breaks the subtitles of the game. After installing and opening the game for a second time the subtitles cannot be turned on again and are permanently off.
In the GamerProfile.xml file says: SubtitlesLanguage="invalid_language". I tried typing english and it goes back again to invalid language.
Hey, I'm not sure what is happening there. The subtitles work in my game (I have the Ubisoft Connect version). Maybe the Steam version was updated and it causes some issue with my mod? I don't know really. After setting it to english, maybe try setting the file to read only?
It will work, but not correctly. The FOVScaleFactor should be set to 1.0, because the in-game FOV will be increased to 110 by the mod. If you change the FOVScaleFactor, it will multiply the 110 FOV value instead of the game's original base FOV value.
Can you please make a version with FOVs 100 and 105 and also version where car fov and cutscenes and QTE fovs also match main fov for all variety of FOVs from 100 up to 120 (this could be useful with VR mods)? Please! Also provide please sources and compiller tools to let us edit FOVs to preferable one.
There's no way I'm making that many versions, sorry. I don't know how QTE FOV is handled, I couldn't find it easily and it didn't really bother me anyway so I left it alone.
Maybe I will look into QTE FOV at a later time, but cutscene FOV is a no go. I use my cutscene skipper when I play this game regardless. I made the mod using Gibbed/FCBConverter and a script to mass edit archetype files. If you need help, FC Modding Discord might be a good place to start.
