| 1. Description |
------------------
This Editor Mod for Far Cry 4 adds new objects to the editor. It's designed to make maps that are still 100% compatible with vanilla Far Cry 4 installations.
This means that maps created with this mod will also play properly on systems where the mod is not installed.

NOTE for EDITORS: Maps created with a mod CAN ONLY BE EDITED with that mod installed.
If you try to edit a modded map without the mod installed, the new features
and objects from the mod will forever be DELETED from the map!

| 3. Installation |
-------------------
1) Create a backup of your existing patch_hd.fat and patch_hd.dat files in Far Cry 4's data_win32 folder. You can find this folder either in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\FarCry 4\data_win32
- or -
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Far Cry 4\data_win32

2) Copy the patch_hd.fat and patch_hd.dat included in this archive to the beforementioned data_win32 folder, overwriting existing files.

3) Launch the Map Editor. You should now have additional options. For details, see the changelog below.

| 4. Tips & Troubleshooting |
-----------------------------

The Far Cry 4 Editor is prone to crashes. For the most stable experience, it's recommended you don't go beyond Graphics Quality set to High. If you experience crashes turning around in the editor, turn off "Override Objects View Distance".

| 5. Known Issues |
-------------------

This mod features objects, classified in 4 categories:
1. All the normal Far Cry 4 Editor content, working properly.
2. Additional 'unused' content found in Far Cry 4 data files, including some Far Cry 3 assets, texture and terrain. Working properly, but limited draw distance may be an issue here.
3. Slightly tweaked content from Far Cry 4, modified for aesthetic reasons.
4. Brand new (generated) objects, based on other resources I found in Far Cry 4.

* Most objects should work without issue. However, keep in mind:
- Objects that have an active ProximityTrigger will *crash* the editor when any AI object is in range of them. So be sure to place AI outside of their reach!
This applies to Proximity Mine Activated, as well as some experimental ProximityTrigger objects. use them at your own risk!
- Some objects are only visible in the editor, and turn invisible ingame (e.g. Invisible Blockers, Water objects).
- When Objects from category 3 spawn in waves or respawn, they revert back to the original object without the tweaks.
- Objects from category 4 are NOT able to respawn, nor can they spawn as part of any Wave.
- Respawning weapons will only do so when they're picked up. You can only pick them up if you don't have them already.
- Not all objects have thumbnails, and some thumbnails may be wrong
- Some new enemies may cause the map not to end in COOP, not sure why. SP mode has been tested just fine though.

These objects each come in 800 texture variations.
Some objects will look OK, others won't. You'll have to try them!

To get to the objects, you can:
-Search for "GENERIC0" to get a full list (SLOW!)
-Search for "PIPGENERIC" to only get the pipes
-Click the folder named "Objects", on the Objects tab

I also included retextured Shangri La Enemies as Ambient AI.
You can find them in the Ambient AI "Decals" folder.

* Respawnable, static weapons/ammo
* Added extra Ground Textures
* Added Blackhawk reinforcement. The turret&bullet tracers will only be visible for those who have the mod installed, but it will still shoot without them.
* Added more untested Animation Points. Some work, some freeze characters momentarily. Just try them yourself to see which work & do what. :P
* Added Interactive Door
* Added 2 Invisible objects with water surface: put these in the River 'Road' splines to simulate water (sound&effects on 'impact')
* Added Invisible blocker 'Walls': they block players, but projectiles still pass through
* Added custom waypoint indicators
* Added Particle effects. Note that these eat up performance!
* Added soundpoints
* Made some more objects spawnable.
* Added Active Proximity Mine. BE CAREFUL placing this one: AI within range WILL set it off, crashing the editor!
* AI: Added Ambient AI, both Allied and Enemy... ;)
* AI: Added some custom made AI allies: 'Boomer', 'Grace' and 'Nick' ;)
* Objects: Added retextured variants of Floor Concrete Tiles (250x250 & 500x500)
* 'Water' Tool: +10 new textures. Note that some may have undesired effects, please test them before use!
* Vegetation Tool: Placed all FC3 vegetation in "Misc" Directory
