This is a great mod for my third playthrough. But when I tried to rebind the weapon switch keys, it didn't work at all. Is there any way to fix this...?
First of all thanks for this. A ton of QoL additions, especially the fov, feels way better. Is there any chance for a hardcore edition of sorts in future? 2 hours in, I have like 500 thousand rupees and it's enough to buy like 1/3 of the gun store stock from what I've seen.
Whenever I look down whilst moving, Ajay's feet kinda just float. It looks really weird, is there any way to fix this? Also, npc's seem to not be moving their lips when talking. Is this normal?
I don't build the redux mods with controllers in mind, sorry! If you are comfortable extracting the mod, you can add any controller inputs you want via the inputcommon.xml file.
I don't know if/when I'd have time to update the mod, but if I do, what would you want that button to be? Y hold?
@herd I personally do not enjoy using KB-M for gaming. Much more comfortable using Gamepad. I'll give you a second to recover from that heart attack you just had and the therapy session you'll surely need after hearing such a thing.
@BigTinz if you do ever update the mod, I think holding X would be best. Y is used for healing and swapping weapons. I couldn't find the xml file you mentioned but I also haven't unpacked your mod. Not sure if the same program used for FC2 unpacking would even work for that but it's all I got for Far Cry modding. Also, tap to interact, doesn't work on gamepad. I'm sure this can be fixed but again, I haven't tried it. I appreciate your work! Been thoroughly enjoying the Redux + Realism Mod for FC2 and your improvements for FC4 have been really great!
I was also unable to skin animals or harvest plants. I am using KB+M, and I started a new game after installing the mod. EDIT: Ugh. I think it was that the loot bag was full, but there was no onscreen prompt and I had forgotten that was a consideration.

edit: i can't make it work, i extracted the patch_chn files in data_win32, i deleted my save manually to start a new game but still, it doesn't work
If you have an older "offline" version, and/or maybe the russian release, you need to rename the files to patch_hd, and overwrite those files instead.
Could you design a mod that includes:
- Competent weapons
- max attachment
- FOV 90
Because, as in FC3 I find that the weapon ranges are really too low.
The top is that it would be compatible with Golden path of FC4 mod installer.
I will try myself but I don't know how to mod this game...

I've never heard of this issue, and I can't reproduce it.
