Hi, I can't remember off-hand how I did that. It's definitely not in FC3.dll and FC3_d3d11.dll. Those just have the edit to remove camera sounds. Give me a day or two to look through Explorer to find where that change is.
Look in entitylibrary_converted\WeaponProperties\FC3\ and in each of the xml's look for the line that has arkPickupArchetype. After the > there will be a decimal number (in many of those I changed them to 0). That number indicates what weapon the NPC's drop. Those numbers can be found in entitylibrary_converted\FC3_Interactive\Pickups\Weapons\. Look in the file that matches the weapon you want the NPC to drop. Look for the line that has disLibItemId in it. The number after the > is the number you want. I'm not sure if that will change the weapon they wield, but, it will change the weapon they drop.
Example: If you want the NPC to drop an AK-47, the number is 396324350563315359.
Hi Robina Foubister great mod. I love everything about this mod except could you perhaps make a alternative mod that has not increased spawn rates en disables the mini map? There's just too much beings on the island for my liking. If you could do this it would be amazing. Thx.
Hi. Sorry for taking so long to reply. My HDD died. The increased spawn rate is from Rebalanced. I've never looked at how that was done so, I'm not sure if I could make that change.I'll look into how Inakrin did it. It might be an easy fix.
Ok,whatever those mods are working both fine now.But the cannon (signature weapon) has bugged scope crosshair,it's small and it's not glowing so it's really hard to aim with it.
The new scope crosshairs are, IIRC, from the Better Sights mod that was included in Rebalanced. If you download Better Sights and unpack it, you should be able to see which graphic files it adds. Then just unpack Explorer, delete the same files, then repack and you should have the vanilla crosshairs back. Backup the patch files from Explorer first, just to be safe.
My HDD died earlier this year and I haven't reinstalled FC3 on the new HDD, otherwise I'd look it up for you. If you have a problem, let me know and I'll get this HDD set up with FC3 and try to help you.

Hey, i would like to increase teh xp for letters and relics abit more but i cant seem to find the file. Would you be able to enlighten me as to what file(s) i need to edit?

It depends on how well you know how to edit mods. The files are located in patch\graphics\characters\_common\animations\loot. You'll have to replace them with the vanilla files then repack the patch.dat. If you're not sure how to do that, send me a private message and I could walk you through it.
Sorry, minor edit to my reply. You don't have to replace those files with the vanilla ones. You just have to delete them then repack the patch.dat. Sorry about that.
No. That was an aspect of Mr. Pingy's Rebalanced mod that I didn't change. I used his mod as the base for this one and then made a bunch of changes that are listed on the description page. Best thing to do is to read the description page for Rebalanced and then the one for this mod. hth.
