I haven't tested it, but there shouldn't be any issue using both together. If you do try using both together, I'd appreciate it if you could report back with any feedback, though I'd expect everything to work perfectly fine ;)
How do I merge the mods together? They both use patch.dat and patch.fat files. I'm using the dx11 version so mod installer doesn't work. EDIT: Nevermind I'm stupid and didn't read the instructions properly and it's working with Vortex now I think. EDIT2: Do I have to use mod installer if I installed it via Vortex?
EDIT3: Alright I've figured it out now. I downloaded FCB Converter and combined the patch files and it's working.
Just for the record: I haven't tried installing any FC mod using Vortex, but from what I understand it basically automates the download & install procedure for mods that have a properly packaged FC Mod Installer version. After that, I would assume that you'd just use FC Mod Installer.
I personally wouldn't bother with Vortex though, but that's another story. Personally I use FC Mod Installer, and FCB Converter for Dunia/Disrupt games that are not supported by it.
Glad that you got it working though, have a good one!
Awesome job with these last 2 mods, love the attention to the mod installer. Any chance you could tackle shadow quality/draw distance next? Shadows have always been a weak point for FC3.
Thanks for the compliment! Mod Installer is great indeed, it's easy to use and it allows for much more compatibility between different mods. As for a graphics mod for FC3 - I may have something coming in that regard. It's an old renderconfig that I worked on a couple years back, but ended up not releasing it because it was a bit buggy. I'd need to fix those issues before it's fit for a release, I'm not quite sure how yet. Don't get your hopes up too much however - draw distance can be improved on significantly, but shadows are a bit of a mess in FC3.
