The biggest problem with Far Cry's from the third game onwards is the difficulty, it seems that everything is easy even when playing on high difficulties(mainly FC6) as if Ubisoft nowadays makes its games dedicated just for children. My problem with it is the very low recoil of the weapons, many resources that you find from the beginning and the possibility of seeing enemies through everything in the games...
I've been looking for mods that make the game more challenging but unfortunately some have good points amid bad points, bad things like having all the weapons, equipment and skills at the beginning or most mods don't even seem to work as intended.
I wanted to ask if it is possible to make it more difficult to control weapons(recoil, ammo etc), increase the price of everything and reduce the amount of resources found and XP gained, increase the number of enemies and enemy reinforcements, also remove seeing through enemies walls?
I found 3 mods that, when combined, make the experience quite interesting and challenging: "1" - https://www.nexusmods.com/farcry3/mods/263 "2" - https://www.nexusmods.com/farcry3/mods/193 "3" - https://www.nexusmods.com/farcry3/mods/275
Is it possible for you to teach me how to combine these mods without conflict just leaving the possibility to finding little ammo drops from enemies body from the "2" mod?
I'm reposting this comment to see if anyone can help me. Sorry for my bad english:,(
Hi, thank you for these mods I played this game back when it was released and want to play it again it really is a brilliant game I have downloaded mods in the past for fallout 4 and recall having a mod manager which I think was modmanager, I believe manager now is vortex can I install mods for this game with it ? Thank you
There is a mod manager called Far Cry Mod Installer, but many mods (including this one) need to be converted to a specific format before they can be used with it. You'll find most of these mod manager specific mods on the Far Cry Modding Discord server.
I went around every outpost logging positions for where I wanted there to be more AI, then I wrote a script to parse all the data and randomize stuff like their animations and some of the AI types. Finally, the AI is inserted into the map data and added to the associated outpost group.
Now, this is going to be A more Interesting Challenge than vanilla, I can tell just from this one image. just wait until A certain someone makes a Vehicle Patrol Randomizer to go along with this, It would be a literal Warzone, Which is what I want.

Путь установки Steam должен быть таким: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Far Cry 3".
