@EASKATER Is it possible for you to post the raw files to be added to an existing common.dat file? For compatibility with other mods? Would really appreciate it
The raw files of what? I think if I remember correctly you have the same files I do. You can just extract the common.dat and all I changed were the xbt textures or whatever they were, that were given to me by jcorrea, that guy is awesome. Sorry I haven't modded Far Cry 3 in so so long, idk even know if I have the tools anymore, all I cared about were the button icons, and once jcorrea gave me the original PS3 ones and I made the mod for them, I kind of just got rid of everything I had because there was no point to have them anymore. So I'm not sure exactly what files you want. Everything I changed is inside the common.dat file I uploaded.

i already have this mod for Far Cry 3 and it works amazing! but when i try and use this mod for Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon the screen goes all red and the mod doesnt work.
So does anyone know how and where i can find this mod for Far Cry 3:Blood Dragon? because i can't find any anywhere. if someone can help me i'll be forever grateful, thanks for taking your time reading this :)
This mod doesn't work for blood dragon, blood dragon already has a mod for PlayStation buttons. You can check that out here -> https://www.nexusmods.com/farcry3/mods/186
Can someone please give me a step by step guide on how to make this work. Im new to PC gaming and I cant get this to work, can someone please give me a step by step guide on how to get this mod into the game files.

This is to confirm that this mod works with the latest version of the Deluxe Edition of the game. I just tested this with my own copy of the Deluxe Edition of the game.

I extracted it from my far cry 3 (PS3) disc. Edited it to add xbt header and correct sizes. I didn't try the entire game with this buttons, but I will do and report if anything is wrong.
Extracted them and got them in the PC version and it looks pretty good, I will upload a version to mediafire if you want to try it out before I upload it to nexusmods
Here is the link if you want to try them out. Just copy `common.dat` and `common.fat` from the zip to your FC3 Install Directory in the `data_win32` folder (back up the existing files beforehand).
@jcorrea Thanks for showing me these. They look amazing! I myself have tried to do that but couldn't actually get it to work. I've done the same thing to my Bethesda games, All the PlayStation mods I've made for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas are using the actual icons from the PS3 version. So thanks a lot for actually getting it work. I'll private email you and see if you would like me to upload these because they're amazing. With you getting full credit of course.
If you want you can just use the ones I repacked using jcorrea's files. They work as I tested them today and compared them with the original xbox icons and they are all proper icons from what I saw. I would rather not have to upload them myself to nexusmods and just keep everything in this mod to keep people from getting confused. It seems to work great and look perfect from my experience playing with it today. So great job Jcorrea extracting these. Anyway, these are the files I came up with after repacking everything.
@jcorrea could you possibly also extract the icons from the ps3 blood dragon release? Or could you maybe describe how you changed the headers and such for it
