PS3 button graphics for Blood Dragon v. 0.1
===========================================

What this mod does:
-------------------
It changes the game's default button textures from XBox 360 buttons to PS3 buttons.

This is still a work-in-progress, and so far the animated button graphics are unchanged, as is the static "Start" button sprite (because it already looks a bit like the PS3 start button, and my first concern was to immediately make the game more easily playable for myself).

The static button textures (the ones you see most of the time) have all been changed, so this mod should make the game more easily playable when using a PS3 (or PS4) controller. Setting up your PS3 (or PS4) controller correctly is up to you, but I recommend using InputMapper.

Note: this mod doesn't use the official PS3 graphics from the PS3 version, as I don't have access to those and couldn't find a rip. Instead I had modify the XBox graphics. I tried to stay faithful to the XBox design, but some buttons I'm not pleased with - these will be changed in a future update. But they're still usable, and still makes it easier to play the game, when using a PS3 controller.

Compatibility:
--------------
This mod should be easily compatible with any mod that DOESN'T change the "commons.dat" file. If you have such mods installed, follow the advanced install instructions. Otherwise, follow the simple instructions.

Install (simple):
-----------------
1. Navigate to your game's install folder.
2. Open the "data_win32" folder and make a backup of "common.fat" and "common.dat" - store them safely somewhere outside the game folder.
3. Extract "common.fat" and "common.dat" from this archive into the "data_win32" folder, and overwrite both.
4. That's it! Enjoy the game! If you want the original graphics back, restore the files you backed up into the "data_win32" folder. If you didn't make a backup, the only way to restore the files is to reinstall the game.

Install (advanced):
-------------------
This method requires Dunia2 to be installed, and it requires you to know how to use it (it's fairly simple).

1. Go to the "data_win32" folder, inside your game's install folder.
2. Unpack "common.fat" with Dunia2 to "data_win32\unpacked\original".
3. Extract "common.fat" and "common.dat" from this archive to any location outside the "data_win32" folder.
4. With Dunia2, unpack the newly extracted "common.fat" file to "data_win32\unpacked\newfiles".
5. Backup the original "common.fat" and "common.dat" files to any location outside "data_win32" - you'll need them to restore the original files.
6. Copy ALL files from "data_win32\unpacked\newfiles\ui\common\textures\buttons\platform" to "data_win32\unpacked\original\ui\common\textures\buttons\platform" - overwrite everything.
7. Using Dunia2, repack the "common.fat" and "common.dat" files in "data_win32" with the files in "data_win32\unpacked\original".
8. That's it!

I hope you enjoy this mod :)
I don't know when I'll have time to finish the mod, but I'd like to make graphics for the animated buttons (that's a BIG task, compared to the rest), and to make prettier d-pad and shoulder buttons that follow the game's style better (black buttons with white text and outline).
