Amazing work bro! This mod provides such a fun experience and a great way to revisit this one of my favorite games! It makes it actually play closer to my idealized memories of it.
Love the mod so far! One issue I have is that machete stealth kills don't appear to be very silent unless you're really far away from the other enemies
Edit: I think it works you just have to be reeally careful when walking behind the enemy, if they say "I heard something" then everyone will be alerted if you attempt to strike with machete
Is the mortar supposed to mainly have the (useless IMO) smoke grenades? I noticed the ammo is increased but its like, two or three useful explosive rounds then a seemingly infinite supply of smokes.
I've tried using it but I see no reason to continue because the explosive crossbow is infinitely more useful, especially with this mod installed.
I recommend against using the easy installer version, mostly because it doesn't let you choose the saturation level, if you look at pictures of Kenya (the real life inspiration for Far Cry 2) it does have beautiful lush parts but they are beautiful because of the contrast against the otherwise dull or plain landscape. I think I settled on 40% version of the saturation mod because Nvidia HDR/AutoHDR do a fantastic job of color grading the game to look better, using the 100% version of the color mod makes the game look ridiculous.
With FC2 Fixer set to 100FPS (overrides this mods 60FPS limit) I have 0 issues at all with bouncing NPCs or other such bugs, phone calls work fine. 100FPS feels WAY better.

if you use Tom's mod installer, are you supposed to download also the other file ?

I'm guessing it is located within main avatar gosm.xml

Love the mod so far... One question though,
After you've picked a color saturation option, is there a way to change it while maintaining a given save file? Or will I have to start over.
