So is this like a HD mod using the leaked source code? I was hoping for a while now to see a Crysis level graphics mod for Far Cry and this seems to be one.
Leaked code is downloading separately! As far as I know, in this mod only original game was used here, most of the changes and innovations were made through scripts.
I immediately warn you, that there will be often crashes in the GOG version due to mutilated scripts! So use at least the Steam version or preferably a clean (maybe pirated).
Everything is described in details on moddb! If set a crosshair, the cross will be visible when using the iron sights (through the front sight), which will annoy. The interface has been made minimalistic on purpose so that only the most important things are.
No. The field of view has already been enlarged, and the binoculars interface have been slightly adjusted so that the minimap does not block it. It's quite playable, you can try it. Ultrawide is for perverts, I do not recognize this!
Hello. Is this mod contain any gameplay changes or just graphics. Is it compatible with these two mods? And is it even wort it to try to combine them? FCAM (FarCry Addon Mod) 1.999 and Unofficial Far Cry Patch 1.505
Greetings! Yes, in addition to graphical improvements, there are also gameplay improvements, please read description. No need, friend, I have already combined the textures of FCAM and Upscaled in this mod and left the detailed textures from FC Classic.
The mod is not compatible with other mods until you manually adapt them through the scripts code! But you can play absolutely any (in theory) maps with it, copying them to Far Cry/Levels, and then uploading them directly from the drop-down list to the start menu of the game, or using the \map levelname command in console (~ button).
Yes, it will work on Steam too, but ideally you need a clean version of the game, unless of course you want to encounter frequent crashes. Licenses (GOG/Steam) are not recommended!
