Great job on the outfits. They look absolutely awesome! There's one small issue, though. Whenever I dress up a female dweller with the Lanius outfit, the mask is awkwardly floating next to her head and her hands seem to disappear. Is this an issue you're aware of or is it impossible to fix?
Thanks very much, glad you enjoy them! And thank you for reporting this glitch, fortunately it was a simple fix, had to re-align some pointers for the textures. Redownload it and copy over the old files and both issues should be fixed.
No problem at all and thank you for fixing it! Do you know how to fix the skirt issue which occurs whenever you give a female dweller a skirt and dress a male dweller with an outfit that doesn't have a skirt? Thanks in advance! :)
It's not a problem related to your mod. It's just a general question as I'm trying to create my own outfits, but whenever I use the line "hasSkirt":true, the male dweller's textures are all messed up. I figure you may know how to fix it!
how do i install it i installed the custom outfits i think the mod pack is installed and when custom outfits folder apeared i just unpacked there textures and the rest of it and i see it in crafting menu BUT i craft it in 0 secs and then the game is like i crash game crashed and there was only recruit outfits
Customs outfits is currently defunct and is only up as an "archive" making all mods that depended on it obsolete until the author of Custom outfits comes out with an update or someone makes a mod serving a similar purpose.
The 'Custom Outfits' mod works fine for me......not sure why anyone claiming it don't work. I'm assuming we're talking about PC version of game ofc. The issue people sometimes have with getting outfits to work is cuz sometimes the mod may not be separating the .json file from the texture file. What I mean is, Inside the 'CustomOutfits' folder should also be a 'Textures' folder. Inside that is where the texture files goes while the .json file resides directly in the CustomOutfit folder. This doesn't ALWAYS work though....depending how they coded the path for their outfit mod.....the texture file may need to be in the parent (customoutfits) folder. I usually just put a copy also into the textures folder if the mod didn't unpack with it in a textures subfolder. You probably should be using the FOS mod installer though....for the 'CustomOutfits' mod at least. Outfits are then manually dropped into the CustomOutfits folder.
The Custom Outfits mod has instructions on how to use custom outfits in general, but I've also added instructions on where to place the files on this mod's page.
did you know fallout shelter's mobile version has some unique outfits the PC one doesn't has? you can find a list of them in wikipedia page, since from all the hardship you went through trying to create outfits, i am pretty sure this task only requires to rip the textures which isn't a big deal i suppose
well i have been on that recently downloaded the latest version of Fallout shelter on my mobile then copied it's OBB and DATA to my Computer, i successfully unpacked the OBB but the main issue lies on how to actually rip the textures from the main files
I installed it and it works great, but when scrolling throught the Workshop-List, there are some "pictures" (logos) missing from outfits i already had before installing the mod. I can craft them and they show up without problem within the storage etc. but i miss the textures within the workshop.
Yes the Mod Pack page pull the download down cause it is too broken now due to game updates and they do not have the time to fix it... Bottom line if you have a newer version the game the Installer has a high risk of breaking it due to no more updates
I did not know about that, that would be perfect. Unfortunately on testing though, the combination of the beard and the fringe make the helmet too big to display properly. Disappointing :( But thank you for letting me know about that.
