That's uhh... by design. The whole time making this I was just trying to make the lenses reflective, as a challenge to myself for failing to come through 3 years ago.
I asked for permissions to upload that edit^ and never got them. I tried to do this to the vanilla patrolman sunglasses in fallout 4 at the time, but it didn't work. Showed up completely black in game and not reflective at all. Since I started playing this game, I figured I'd give it another shot.
Those other colors were "happy mistakes" I made along the way. Editing things with no direction at all, and seeing any change at all after several hours were things that I kept, in case I needed to see what one material file did, in case it stopped working again; if so, I could at least revert back to another. Since I was just checking boxes, changing values willy nilly. This mod isn't that great right now. But I've been messing around with them a lot, and I think I know a little bit better on how they work after spending more time with them. I may make some more updates, if I get the motivation.
Ahh I see. There was this really cool retexture for the fashionable glasses in FO4 but in 76 I usually go for the bottlecap glasses. I do like the look of the aviators plus the red is a nice bonus. Thanks for the clarification though lol
