That's called cheating, play in a Custom World, or Fallout 4, 3 or NV to fix that problem. You can change textures, add in new ones or change elements of the UI, but you can't change the core of the games code, that's for the single player titles.
I'm curious if the robobrain poison cloud could be replaced with the new trog poison pool animation. I love being able to see through the cloud, but I often overlook the green glow it leaves on the ground and run straight through it to my death haha. When it's all said and done though I'd rather die to poison a couple times than be completely blind.
The Poison cloud and Robobrain cloud are the exact same, just colored different, one isn't more transparent than the other. The Troggs share the same poison cloud/pool as the Daily OPs. Replacing the Poison Cloud with the Robobrain one just takes you back to not even using this mod basically... All that's being done is Cloud goes from green to black.
So all I can really say is if you want the clouds back, uninstall the mod because all you're asking me to do is to swap the clouds, from green to black as I never touched the Poison Pool on the ground itself, so any issues not seeing it on the ground are on Bethesda's end.
Maybe try using the Union Power Armor as it adds 150 poison resistance with a full set, or the Funky Duds Legendary Perk Card to reduce poison damage, though you'll need a full matching set of armor for it to work, or both.
I noticed the files were 7kb, when the rest of that data is unnecessary. Remade the mod with a blank mesh found in the game files. Reduces file size down to 452 bytes and possible reduces lags. You'll have to split them up again but here you go:
"to be sure" you need some really low-end hardware. E.g. it can make a difference for low-mem/low shader count cards - 2GB GF840M or even Intel HD series. I was forced to run 2xF76 on such hardware during vacation :)
Love the mod, makes Daily Ops and Robobrains in general much less of an annoyance. Would it be possible instead of removing the particles entirely, to make it 25% translucent?
If I can find the spare time to do so, I can certainly look in to it. Unless somebody else has the time to do it or gets to it before I do. I'd have to properly recreate the file for both effects, lessening the density of the particles to do what you're asking. Where as what I did took like 30 seconds since I already had the blank file created, so it was just a matter of finding the file location. I really just made the mod for myself as I was getting irritated by the smoke/mist effects and uploaded it incase anyone else may have felt the same way.

I tested it to be sure.
