Thank you so much for this mod. The spores were really pestering my eyes (getting old does that), but now all is good. Except I do have one question/concern. After installing I noticed that the little pips for certain activities were gone. Ones marking targets and satellite dishes disappeared. During the events where you have to turn on and fix dishes for MODUS, the arrows showing where the dish locations are gone. In events to locate enemies, the markers are also gone. The HUD display, with distance markers and area locations are still present, the individual pips are not. Is this something to do with removing the spore mess or an entirely different problem? Anyone else have this occurring? I'd hate to have to remove this mod, too helpful.

I've been using this for months and have never had them disappear. Just did A Real Blast last night and the markers on the dishes were there. If you have any UI mods like Show Health or something else, those are more likely the culprit.

I deleted this app, hoping to clear up (ha ha) other problems. The only mods I have are SFE, Perk Loadout Manager, Unlocking Bar, Better Inventory, RatMonkeysEasySorting, Make Balloons Not Bags, and Ore Glow. Tried to do Monster Mash and nothing worked except getting the mask. Couldn't see locations of pumpkins and when I did find them, couldn't pick them up. No markers still on Real Blast, Distant Thunder or any other event that used to have location pips. After deleting, still had the problems, so probably not your app and am going to re-install. Really like no pollen. But it is weird that all the problems started after loading this app.

It's more likely you haven't updated Better Inventory or Perk Loadout Manager. Better Inventory didn't get updated until the 6th, and PLM (the version with the HUD notification, which is why I use the No HUD Notification version) and Text Chat were causing no objective markers until the mods got bug fix updates. It's in the comments on the second sticky post of PLM.

Yep, it was the Perk Loadout Manager that needed updating. Was so used to it running with out causing any conflicts, not to mention didn't think about updating it. The update was for joint ventures and I play solo, so didn't grab it at first. Then the little, dim, almost burned out bulb went off and I updated. Everything works great now. So very glad. I really do like this app. As I mentioned, the eyes were getting ticked at me with all the spores. Thank you for the assistance and the program.

I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, but after I installed this another mod that I use stopped working altogether (lower your weapon please). If you could take a look at this and confirm, maybe figure a way for the two to work together, I'd appreciate it. I love the lower your weapons mod (it's the best one I know of) but I would love to use your mod as well because that pollen is a real pain in the ... Bethesda should decrease the intensity of the pollen a bit.

That's weird. I don't use that mod, but I can test it. Odd that it would cause anything else to stop working, since it just replaces one mesh.
Edit: It's working with the version I'm testing right now, so at the very least after I update the file, if it's still not working for you it's not this mod.

just to let you know in case you were checking it out, don't worry about this. I guess I was just getting impatient, it does work with your mod sorry about the trouble.

I did test it out to be sure, that's what the Edit above was for. That mod's not my cup of tea though, It felt weird having the gun flick up and down when hip-firing while moving. To each their own.

That is why no one tried to remove it. You can't do it properly without mods support or at least a new NifSkope to make a clean mesh.
After all these years It is safe to assume neither will ever see the world.

    Thanks for your effort anyhow.

Yep, NifSkope creator said he won't until modding is officially supported. But I'd rather play with this half-measure that put up with terrible visibility.

Well, looking at a huge exclamation signs is not a measure in my books. :D But, whatever works for you I guess.
As for NifSkope creator, he was either bought or intimidated. Knowing gaming industry these days I'd bet on a second option.

Nah, he's basically like all the modders in the community who gave up on modding when 76 came out and have zero interest in supporting modding for it. Deleted his Discord and all that. He has a fully working version that he won't publish - at least until modding is officially supported - and only published dev8 (which was kind of a PITA to navigate to find) when other people had done their own work on dev7 to work with 76 Nifs, and even then he purposefully disabled saving.

You can actually save those nifs in that version of the program. All you have to do is try to close the program after changing some things and it will prompt you to save the file, say yes. In some instances the file will corrupt and not work in-game, but I believe that is tied to my own error while trying to remove certain blocks.

If he just abandoned modding, then why not publish already working program and be done with it? Why purposefully disabling editing and saving if you don't care anymore? If he just abandoned modding, than what difference it makes if modding gets officially supported by Bethesda or not? Sorry, it makes absolutely no sense.

Well well, looks like he overlooked that, thanks! I'll attempt to get a proper removal of the effects and update it.

So where did you get latest sort-of-working build? :)

      Edit: NVM. Found it. :)
