This mod sounded so good but the ini files completely mess up shadows for me. And adds a black circle on the ground following me.
The game looks terrible without grass too, and GSHADE completely sucks; it is disabled unless I update and all update links are broken, cant be arsed to signup to some discord server to update. Once I went to the official GSHADe website and installed that, my game is frozen.

    Please update

My mind is blown with these ini adjustments, and this is one of the few Nexus mod entries that I've found that has dramatically boosted my FPS. Thank you so much for your help!

Do you know of a way to get this working with the xbox live version? I've added the Gshade folder into the "modifiablewindowsapps" fallout 76 directory but this does not appear to do anything. The .ini tweaks themselves appear to have no effect in game either. Do I have to delete the ones titled project76.ini and project76prefs.ini?

I honestly have no idea. If I knew the folder structure then I maybe could help.

Hey, FYI, this doesn't work right outside the box anymore. I get a notification ingame that 'effects are disabled until you download the latest GSHADE update'.

I'm trying to figure out how to do that now.

Fixed, had to download the latest update from Gshade's website and rename the x64 dll to d3d11.dll

This is the way to do it.

EDIT: Uploaded a version with updated GShade.

I have severe lag issues in interior cells. I will stop moving in various places, like trying to go through a door, inside a small room, looking at containers, etc. The game isn't frozen, i can turn and jump, shoot weapons and loot things while stuck. It only started happening after using your .ini files. Any idea why this happens?

PS, game runs exceedingly smoothly regardless.

That's quite odd. I don't have any specific interior related tweaks going on.

Could you provide a video of the issue?

Any ways to get rid of those shadows at map screen without disabling AO?

I've explained this in the description, unfortunately the only way is to look at something flat or featureless (floor, sky, wall) when opening the map.

Thsi should be mentioned, that this all is for descent+ PCs.
Your custom INI is equal in settings to High or even Ultra at most heavy positions.

Well yes and no. While the preset values in the .inis are for mid-highrange computers and up, there's nothing preventing you from lowering them.

The purpose of my settings is to maximize performance while maintaining as much visual splendor as possible. There's plenty of potato-mode .inis available, no need for more of those.

where can i use these keys? IN game???
    Keybinds for GShade:
HOME - Open up the GUI
DELETE - Toggle the effect on/off
Ctrl + Up arrow - Previous preset
Ctrl + Down arrow - Next Preset
    F12 - Screenshot

Yes. The keybinds work wherever and whenever you're on your active Fallout76.exe window. If they don't, you did something wrong or there's some other issue I haven't thought about.
