Hey - I got this to work in a ba2 file! Use https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/63243 (BSArchPro) and add the 2 DDS files by dragging the textures folder into the program so it looks like:
then hit pack and (this is the important part), make sure to select Fallout 4 DDS at the top, that's what makes it work properly in 76.
After that, add the ba2 file as normal to your custom INI and drop it in your data folder, and it should work. I can provide a pre-built version if needed. Thanks!
Hi, i love the mod BTW, any chance you could get it in a nice aqua/teal colour? and also any chance i could get a copy of the .ba2 file you were trying? some things seem to need to have a base .ba2 file added in a certain order in your custom.ini in order to work, i could mess around with it and if i manage to get it to work, hit you up so you can add that option :)
Hi there, I love what you're doing with the different colored HUDs! I was wondering if it would be possible to perhaps make a rainbow colored HUD like this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/35453/?tab=posts
I agree if someone can PLEASE come up with a .ba2 file install I would be forever grateful!! I cant get other ways to work but the .ba2 works perfect on every other mod!!
Thanks for the interest! I did see the .ba2 mods coming out and tried to do this as well, but for some unknown reason, whenever I package it that way, it simply doesn't function ingame. If someone knows why, I'd love to know, but till then the methods posted are the only ways i've gotten it to work personally.
You could always provide a pre-packaged .ba2 file to add to sResourceIndexFileList in Fallout76Custom.ini, you know. You wanted an easier way - here it is.
Thanks. I did actually see this method and did attempt to make the mod into a .ba2 format for people, but for some reason, it simply doesn't work when I package it that way. No idea why really, and no one I've talked to has been able to figure out the issue either, despite other mods working fine with it.
