Not sure if the tape is already blue or when I installed this the tape went blue, but in the game the tape is blue. Idk why other's don't see blue tape. Also in the USA we have all kinds of tape in a lot of colors including blue tape.
I agree. I was wondering on the description page 'what bug has been carried over from Fallout 4?' It's not a bug, but a preference. I haven't even played this game yet, and the more I look at it, the less I want to play it. I'm still tweaking FO4 and writing a story about my own personal adventures in it. Many changes with mods to make the world more like what it would be in real life, but that's another story.
I dont understand what this mod does. I dont know what annoying bug you are referring to. The description isn't specific. Does it make duck tape blue or fixes blue duck tape to be grey? I dont think I've ever seen blue ducktape in the game or in real life.
It is not a bug the op was obviously trying to pull people in under false pretenses. This mod only changes the looks of the tape to be blue and easier to see nothing else.
it's a reference to asXas's extremely popular mods in fallout 4, to which he's consistently had a unique quirk of an optional blue tape strapped to some part of the gun. it's just something of his that marks his guns out from the rest, in a fun and lore friendly way. as opposed to putting his name or something overt to signify his stuff, you have a totally optional crafting choice of putting blue tape on the stock of your gun. since his mods have been consistently AMAZING quality, seeing non-blue tape is practically heresy, since blue tape is clearly 100% better. TL;DR it's a mod for long-time fans of asXas's work on fallout 4.
@hex77x Actually, they do have duct tape that is not the usual color (I suspect it was made for when you wanna repair things that are not grey and have it match the original but it is mostly used for crafting projects). Do not take my word for it search amazon for "blue duct tape".
I like that you're making Duct Tape slightly more visible, but if it's true that blue tape contains less adhesive than grey, then technically wouldn't be as useful. If you really wanna do us a favour, make a mod for Jaffa Tape (American Duct Tape) 1; it's bright orange, more visible 2; it's the stickiest Duct tape I've ever used, which, if you could therefore make it give more adhesive in game, would be of true value.
Changing values of things like that is not supported because all those values that control the amount given from salvaging items are on Bethesdas server where we can not access them (otherwise cheaters would have already made it so each item gives you an insane amount of material when salvaged). This mod only changes the looks of the tape to be blue and nothing else.

Blue tape is designed to NOT stick, and to break easily...
If you really wanna do us a favour, make a mod for Jaffa Tape (American Duct Tape) 1; it's bright orange, more visible 2; it's the stickiest Duct tape I've ever used, which, if you could therefore make it give more adhesive in game, would be of true value.
