There are just two options, light (white) and dark (brown). I thought it would be rather easy to figure out which one is light and which one is dark.
Also, pictures there are for the sole purpose of demonstration of the mod's features. Usually people look at the screens and are like: "Oh, I like that light wooden window frame, I'll download the light wood version then!","Look, there's also a marble floor replacement and waddaya know, it works with light laminate floors I already have! Great, I gotta get that replacer for my camp ASAP!" I can't even imagine what exactly confuses you here.
Well, many of these mods offer completely different/new textures (like white couches replacing original red ones or white marble replacing the laminate) and the description says which one replaces which. Just download what you like from the screens, it's that simple.
It doesn't help any new players to see if this mod is worth it or not, and splitting it into many different packages doesn't help when u can just bundle em into a single file
I'm sorry, but I don't think you understand how this mod's structure works.
There is no way to make a single bundle because of several reasons: 1. There are several mods for one thing and few mods for other thing, couple mods for third one etc. This already makes it impossible to make one bundle. 2. Making bundles with all combinatiins of the mods present won't help either as there'd be 100000 bundles in this case. Do you think it will be convenient to navigate through 100000 files instead of just choosing "white couches" and "black marble replacer for dark wood laminate floor"? :D
For the same exact reason making before/after for every combination of mods will make a screenshot section have 10000 pictures. Once again, do you think it's easier to sift through 10000 pics instead of just deciding: "ok, this mod replaces red couches with white couches... oh,look, here they are on that screen, I gonna download that asap!"
You can decide if it's worth it or not looking in the description to see what it replaces and then looking at the screens to see the replacers themselves. Say, you like dark marble floors after looking at the screens, then you just download a dark marble replacer for the floors you have out of the options provided. Simple as that.
I love it...but the only thing I hate about these mods is I always forget only I can see my beautiful camp, everyone else just see's the garbage vanilla textures :( Obviously I know that can't be fixed unless Bethesda steal your idea but still
Thank you! Well, yeah, I don't think they'll implement full mod support anytime soon. And even if they will, it will not be for all the mods from Nexus, just several mods they approved for server-side check.
I could do that, but then half of the world's buildings (including many of those frome quite large locations like Whitespring) would look a little bit off so I decided against it. There are just too many houses in the worldspace that use the same textures.
Hmm now that I think about it, I wonder if this is a silly question-but here goes-- If these files are on your own individual hdd, and not on the server, does that mean only 'we' see the changes, and not other Players?
Actually, I was working on it, but then I realized that robots are at work too and they might succeed at this in much shorter time than me, maybe they'd even make it by 2pm GST tomorrow :D
I'm talking about AI upscalers that some other guy uses to retexture virtually everything and it looks pretty damn dope actually -)) So yeah, I'll step back for a while to see where it all going -)) Maybe release a small mod or two occasionally, but the next big thing that we all were waiting for is actually almost here, right behind the corner.
Hey Rigell! I would love to see a Recolor to Dark Wood of both the Long and Short Railing from the Defences Catagory as I use these for Deck Railings and Stairwells. Thanks Again for all your Hard Work!
P.S. Can't wait for the new colors on the Rocketgirl Suit!
