Hello did this mod break due to update 21 yesterday? My reshade no longer seems to be working. I love this mod. Is there an easy fix? Anyone else? Both my game and my gfs game seem to have no reshade going.
Then you most likely have SFE + perkloadouts or text chat installed. SFE also installs a dxgi.dll that conflicts with reshades dxgi.dll. Delete any dxgi you have then install Reshade and Rename ReShade's module to ReShade64.dll. Then you can reinstall SFE.
PSA: June 3rd update broke my Reshade install. Had to do a complete uninstall and reinstall of Reshade but this time change reshades dxgi file to "d3d11.dll". For whatever reason ReShade64.dll wouldn't work anymore.
This preset is very pretty, but I've been noticing my colours changing a lot depending on the direction I'm looking even if its the same area. just wondering if this is normal or I've screwed something up, thanks :D
Unfortunately it's a side effect of the shader i had to use for this game due to the *huge* color shifts during sunset and sunrise. A normal color reassignment table (LUT) just wouldn't work right, so i used a dynamic adjustment shader :P
You can slow down the transition speed between colors by changing "Time Based Fade Speed" in the prod80_RT_Correct_Color shader settings (at the bottom of the Reshade overlay). I will upload a modified preset with a longer transition speed that you can just download, i may have uploaded the wrong file by mistake
Thanks! V1 of the preset is available in the Files tab under Old Files. It's called "Beautiful Colors V1 Preset". You just download that and put the files in the game folder
I'm still new to this, not entirely sure what the best method is for this kind of stuff yet. I'm learning though
No, V1 used a bunch of different settings, and i believe it also used some different shaders. If you want Neutral V1, you need to download V1 and use the Neutral Preset included with it
you wrote "Select the shaders you'd like to use, but make SURE you install LUT.fx" but when instal reshade i cant see LUT.fx option...or maybe im doing something wrong
Oh, sorry for the confusion. The new version of ReShade doesn't have that option anymore, it installs it by default. I'll update the instructions.
Just make sure you keep the first two boxes checked when it asks what Shaders you want to install, then it'll ask you about LUT.fx and a couple other shaders
Two images have no description. I can see ( I think ) that they also "Contrast" variant, but please label them as such ( or whatever they are  ) Most important, please repeat a chosen one-third section of a screenshot for "Comparison Screens". I find them far less useful when not this way because, as you can even see in this instances, it's slightly like comparing a light coloured basket of mostly apples, to a dark wooden bowl of mostly citrus. Keep up the good work. Last thing. Have you fiddled with VR with 76, or with "raytraced environmental lighting" via Reshade ?
Hey, thanks for the feedback and for trying it out, I appreciate it :)
I will fix those descriptions, I didn't realize they weren't named. I'm new to uploading on Nexus :P
As for VR, i haven't tried it. There are some decent shaders out there that will emulate the way VR works and allow you to use it. There's a decent one by BlueSkyDefender I believe. It's called Depth3D.
As for "raytraced environmental lighting" (i assume you mean the RTGI shader made by Marty McFly/Pascal), I am unable to use it. It requires a Depth Buffer, which ReShade does not allow access to in online based games. Some games can disconnect or ban you for utilizing the depth buffer, or will simply refuse to let you connect. I haven't tried it as a result, but you are free to. The RTGI shader itself costs $5 for access on his Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/mcflypg). To use it (or other shaders like MXAO) despite the network usage, you can download a "network check" free version from PG Hub, the server Marty McFly/Pascal hosts his RTGI shader on. It's free to download
Hi JimJim37* Thanks for the answers about VR & info about RTGI shader made by Marty McFly/Pascal. Keep up the good work Kimberly. *BTW,out of silly curiosity,whyjimjim37? Reflectively,BorderXer
ah, it's just an old account name i came up with a very long time ago. I'm not actually a guy or anything, just sounded catchy when i was younger, lol. I've had this account since 2013 and didn't really want to make a new one, and Nexus doesn't let you change the name :P
So the smart sharpen worked great for me, however the LUT seemed to have... Inverted my colors? I selected the Neutral and renamed it to LUT.png and then replaced the one in the folder as per the instructions. It ends up looking like this: https://i.imgur.com/xYCA4GV.jpg when enabled. I use it in combination with Apex Reshade (Located here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout76/mods/73) but even when I disable all of the fx except for LUT the effect remains. Any idea as to what the problem might be?
That is very strange. I'll look into it and see if i can find a solution for you. I may resort to just making an entire Reshade preset instead to help prevent stuff like this.
The only thing that comes to mind right now is making sure that the LUT settings look like this: https://imgur.com/f7DNkkN
I will alter the settings to the ones you posted and edit back this comment to let you know if it worked.
Edit. After changing the settings to the one you provided from your screenshot, it seems to work perfectly now. For some reason the default settings for me where 1.00 | 1.00 | 16 | 16. Rather than the .500 and 32 of yours. Thanks for that. Looking forward to testing it more in game. :)

When I get it downloaded again i'll test and update the description
