   it replaces the stub barrel with long barrel, it that a known bug?

      This mod doesn't touch the barrel nif files so it's not this one causing it.
      
      There is another mod for this weapon that fixes the front sight and it does so by replacing all of the barrel nif files with a front sight nif. That mod causes all of the barrel variations to become invisible in exchange for the front sight on the receiver stub becoming visible again. That sounds like what you may be experiencing.

      Try moving it later in your load order, after any other weapon mods. Some other mods may overwrite it. It's still working for me though.

      It would be a stretch to call it cheating since it's only making the gun bearable to use and not changing it's recoil or spread.

   I would love a mod that restores the unused front sight post, and removes the rear post (while keeping the "wings") to make it less cluttered

   Had to remember to add this to the end of my custom list, but after I did, it worked great. The difference is like night and day. I use a level 50 Perfect Storm quite a bit, and this mod makes it SO much better, and feel more like it should've, imo. I don't know why Bethesda didn't add at least a Reflex sight or two to this, along with a suppressor.

   Glad someone finally fixed this since Bethesda seems to have forgotten about both the sights and suppressors for the 10mm.
