last time i checked it was working fine, but i think new combat music have been added by Beth, i will try updating the mod before the end of the year. Cheer!
An option that every game, ever made in the history of the universe should work. Combat music stinks to high heaven in every game ever (except for boss battles)
Thanks for uploading this, makes such an immersive difference to an increasingly less immersive game. I'm looking at you new dumb AI npcs! No more am I alerted to combat until I'm the one instigating it or I get jumped by an angry group of nasties.
My appology for the late respond, hell yeah! personally, the first reason i made this little mod, was because i was sick of hearing the combat music playing long after the combat is done. This is cause by the game having 2 tracks per combat music: 1 for the combat music itself, and one for the ending. The ending plays once the danger in-game is over, but why did they want it that way? i don't know.. It was annoying to look around, all primed, to find the last ennemy, when in fact the combat is over :P
hi! I hope one day Beth add the setting to toggle on/off music combat, but for now, we can only turn off the combat music by turning the music off completly, and turning it back on after every combat, but it can be annoying to turn music off when combat starts and turn it back on when it stops.
This little mod replaces every combat sounds with silent sound, and the files are the exact same lenght as every original combat tracks, so in-game, the music transition is smooth and cool: normal music stops slowly when danger starts, and the music start playing again when the danger is over.
