    There are around 150 new (or updated) text entries in the today's patch (19 nov), so don't forget to regenerate your strings!

    Skyline Valley update :  I tried to update using v1.5.7b of xTranslator and got an unknown header error opening SeventySix.esm

    What this means is we will have to wait until xTrans gets updated with the latest patch for FO76 in mind. Given the authors are in France (AFAIK) it's possible they haven't seen the new patch yet.

    Not sure if strings can be shared.  But I generated strings today, May 11, 2024 and uploaded them here.  The strings folder needs to be in the .\Data directory inside the Fallout 76 game folder.

    Update for version 1.7.9.10 of Fallout 76 (the latest as of this post)

    You need to get the latest version of xTranslator from - https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/313?tab=files

    This is the most updated version of xTranslator. If you use the version linked in the description you'll get an unknown header error when opening SeventySix.esm

    ALWAYS use the most updated versions of any modding tools as offsets can change with each new patch that comes out.

    Seems broken, it shows the comps 4 times in game i.e "Table spoon (Steel, steel, steel, steel)

    EDIT: Got it working as of 28/02/2022 v1.0.44.0
    Took a couple attempts to let me open the Data folder on PC's gamepass version but its finally working!

    Doesn't seem to be working. I follow all the steps in the guide but the "translated" text never changes.

      I am having the same issue, can't seem to find a way to import or add fields for anything. After running DefUI i still get both the same value undr Original & Translated. Not sure what i'm doing wrong?

    "J) you can verify if every thing is ok: in the game folder there is a new subfolder called Strings, with 3 Strings files in it.
    SeventySix_en.STRINGS
    SeventySix_en.DLSTRINGS
    SeventySix_en.ILSTRINGS"

    PLEASE NOTE: The three strings mentioned to look for will be in the "STRINGS" folder UNDER the  \DATA directory!
    This may be obviuos, but worth mentioning just in case. After all this is a Bethesda game..lol..
