    Removed a setting from Fallout76Prefs.ini that caused terrain to turn black when looking down at high altitudes.

      Make sure you did not delete the sResourceArchive2List line in your Fallout76Custom.ini. You must copy that line from your ini file to the ini file provided by this mod for your mods to work. Otherwise you will need to add that line back with the file names of all ba2 files from your mods.

      Make sure the following settings in Fallout76Prefs.ini have the following values:

      [Display]
      bFull Screen=0
      bBorderless=1

      Note that this will cost you some performance.

      If this does not fix it, try using Super+D (super = windows key).

    Thx, I got huge fps improvement on my potato.
    But I miss the gore? How can I change it back to see the blood splatters and stuff?

      To re-enable gibs and screen blood splatter, change the following settings in Fallout76Custom.ini by replacing them with the following values:

      [General]
      bDisableAllGore=0

      [ScreenSplatter]
      bBloodSplatterEnabled=1

      I am able to fix berry mentat highlights by setting the following settings in Fallout76Prefs.ini to their default values by removing them or simply commenting them out using ";":

      [Display]
      ;fShadowDistance="value does not matter"
      ;fDirShadowDistance="value does not matter"
      ;bEffectShaderAllowPBRShadows="value does not matter"
      ;fMaxFocusShadowMapDistance="value does not matter"

    Does this remove bloom?

      The custom ini file contains some settings with "bloom" in their names, so I would say it probably does disable bloom.

    Hi there,
    I am having a huge improvement thanks to .ini settings.
    One problem: I can see enemy only when I am few meters away from them.
    How can I solve this?
    thanks a bunch :)

      The setting that controls NPC render distance is located in Fallout76Prefs.ini. Here is the setting with the maximum value it can have:
      [LOD]
      fLODFadeOutMultActors=15

    Hey do you think you could sort through every setting and set them to the lowest possible values?

      There are hundreds of settings, so testing each and every one of them would take an eternity without the use of console commands. I am still tweaking my ini files to this day, but I will only update this mod when I find any significant settings that might affect performance.

    @Zomg
    Hey
    How do you force the custom screen res ? I tried some stuff , that didnt work. I'd like to lower res.

      Change these lines in Fallout76Prefs.ini under [Display]:

      iSize H=1080
      iSize W=1920

      Hope this helps!

    [Particles]
    iMaxDesired=0

    Particule at 0 will remove flame thrower flames too. I have mine to 8 so it doesn't happen.
