If only f4 was that addictive as 76 is... I'd gladly play it and maybe even make mods for it. But for now I don't see anything that'd incentivize me to play f4. I didn't even finish my n-th playthrough that I started back in fall of 2018.
:D been working on somthing like it myself a while now but if i do a decal swap all pa of that version gets a bos decal even if they are using other paints so i disided to just paint the dds file with the decal :) looking forwardto your take on this :)
Still not working for whatever reason. It could just be on my end. Whenever I'm using a mod that does more than replace textures or sounds, it ends up messing with things. Right now, Repair Fix is the culprit. I don't know what the deal is, I probably have a wonky INI file. haha
Damn, if only I had that hotrod paint to test it -)) Everything seems all right with the folder structure and filenames. Let's wait and see if someone also has issues with this paint.
Alright, a couple of interesting things I've noticed after further testing:
- The Hotter Rod replacer *does* work, but not with X-01 (I've confirmed with T-51 and T-60, but don't have T-45 to test). - Having both the Flames replacer for the standard PA sets and the Hotter Rod paints installed cancels the Hotter Rod ones out.
The only thing I had was your X-01 mod, which I had removed to no avail. Also, it turns out that the reason I couldn't have both the regular and Hotter Rod files installed was because I had too many mods in my sResourceArchive2List, so I've extracted most of it and used Baka. Fun times!
Yeah, I encounter this issue everytime the new update hits, new additions to that sResourceArchive2List make many mods from the end of the list to stop working. Got used to repack and shorten their names already... I guess I'd need to start to use baka at some point as well...
You can always unpack them (with archive2) and use separately with baka. What's wrong with replacers for all armor types at once exactly?
I could've uploaded every single paint for every single armor type but it'd be a mess in the file section with 30+ separate archives an hell of a lot of additional work for me. And I wanted to release the mod asap. Also, we all have real lifes to attend to -))
If you use other standard paint replacers for any PA type, you can still use 'em with this mod, just put the filenames of these mods after CPPR.
Thanks for this Rigell! Can't wait to see the good ol' military paint back in action. However if I may be so rude to suggest something you might be able to look into... Depending on if this is too much work or not... I was wondering if you could have a look at the vanilla PA's like the T51-b, Ultracite and X0-1, they seem to have carried over some issues from FO4, the T51-b for instance is missing a texture or something at the back of the neck of the helmet allowing you to see through it, since Ultracite uses the T51-b for it's base, this too has the same problem... the X0-1 however has a floating bolt on it's right shoulder, someone made a mod to fix this in FO4 but alas it can't be used in 76... Would you perhaps be able to do something about these or be able to point me in the right direction?
Thank you very much for your quick reply. I'll be awaiting your reply and thanks again for looking into this regardless of being able to fix it or not!
