A Simple ReShade Preset for Fallout 76
This preset aims to make the Fallout 76 experience less of an eyesore. It only uses basic shaders, so it shouldn’t impact performance.
Installation Instructions:
1.
Download ReShade:
Get ReShade from the official website (ReShade.me) and install it to your Fallout 76 game folder.
For Steam users, access the game folder directly by navigating to in steam Library > Fallout 76 > Options > Manage > Browse Local Files.
2.
(Optional) Tidy the Shaders Folder:
Delete the reshade-shaders folder that ReShade creates in the game directory, then replace it with the one in this zip file. This step isn’t necessary, but it can reduce load times since this preset doesn’t use all default shaders.
3.
Install the Preset:
Unzip this shaders and .ini file to the main Fallout 76 directory.
4.
Select the Preset in Game:
Launch the game, press the Home button on the keyboard, and select ReShadePreset_Simple from the dropdown menu.
Feel free to adjust the settings or add other shaders to suit your display.
