Many in the comments had said this mod would have stopped working. Technically it was working all the time, but due to a desig flaw it appears to be broken.
At the moment the downloaded file has this structure: F76 Nuka Girl Edit/Data/NukaGirl.ba2
This seems logical at first glance and works flawless with manual installation. Unfortunally this breaks mod managers like "FALLOUT 76 QUICK CONFIGURATION", who are expecting the mod to be on the first level. Since it is inside a subdirectory the mod manager can't find it. As a result this mod has no effect despite appearently being installed correctly.
I only discovered this by accident while looking for an unrelated issue.
Note to mod author: I recommend to resolve this by moving the mod into the first hierarchy level, with no subdirectories. I also recommend to do this with a new release to trigger a notification for everyone who had downloaded this appearently "broken" mod before.
So I put the ba file in the data folder, also added the mod into the ini file, the mod works but the skin for the body is just a single color and no skin texture, it does not match the head at all, am I missing something here? Do I need another mod to replace the body skin as well? Same thing happens with version 1 and 2 Need some insight please!
Hello, thank you for this! I love it, but it doesn't seem to be working for me as with other mods in game. I'm using Vortex as my manager. I installed and enabled the mod, added NukaGirl_V2.ba2 to the Fallout76Custom.ini and still doesn't change the rocket suit in game. I just purchased the outfit from the Atom Shop, and applied the mod yesterday. I'll try to see if there was any issues with the path Vortex installs the mods, but I haven't come up with a solution yet. I was thinking maybe it's because it is a recently purchased outfit, maybe the file is different from an older version. I'm speculating, but maybe anyone else has had this issue?
Edit* It was the path, the installer put an additional data folder, so once I placed the Ba2 file directly into the game data folder it's working fine. Bless.
@TheL0neW0nder I've made a Sofia outfit replacer using the meshes from version 2 of this mod. Is it okay for me to upload that mod giving you credit of course? I've been using it for personal use, but it seems that some other people want it as well.
@Pokemon0196 I really hope they answer you on that soon. Literally waiting to do her missions until what you’re wanting to upload is available. Even if you don’t get the okay thank you for trying.
Love the mod concept since yeah that's what Bethesda should have done in the first place, sadly it doesn't work for me since the bellybutton and back textures are bugged , tried everything to fix it to no avail
