Brilliant idea, never liked the original spoiler cartoon-ish design. Also, the problem some ppls have about the map revert back to original. It is highly likely due to a packing oversight. I repacked the loose file to ba2 using Archive2 with DDS/Default settings solve the problem for me.
Yeah, can you do that for your files Spiffyskytooper? I am still having problems with this mod. It works when I initially open the map loading into a server but after that it reverts to the original. I will endorse as soon as it works properly for me.
Same problem, copied SimpleMilWorldMap.ba2 to \data, added SimpleMilWorldMap.ba2 to Fallout76Custom.ini and started the game. The military map shows up the first time you ask for a map, after that it reverts to the original.
I'm going to write this off as a user-end issue as I've been using the updated version for the past few days without issue. Really not sure why you'd be having that problem
Best I can suggest is use the old loss version and use CloudysMM to pack yourself, I've been playing with this and cant replicate the issue so I'm not sure what more I can do.
I have to tell you, this is great, I always wanted a more realistic map - I'm big into orienteering. Although I have manually installed all my other fallout 76 mods. Would you be willing to include the file type and directions to do so?
I like it. It's the same map as the one they originally seemed to have in the E3 trailers - specifically this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXf0R24_YpQ
Not sure why they swapped it out for the paper one to be honest.
