That is highly unlikley considering the shameless and broken state of the game. Maybe i should ban Bethesda from my life for breaking My Terms of Service by releasing a game that looks worse than a fresh pile of feces, and this is me being gentle.
there has been reports of people being banned and one of those people only used this mod so by logical termination this would be the cause of that person being banned
I will be honest, I am only getting this bc I am hoping it will teach me how to port mods from f4 to f76. I am after a mod that will allow me to use the crosshair/sights while in stealth like https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1886/? did for f4 but none are made for 76. edit/update: I was sadly unable to do it because I do not own fallout 4 or skyrim on pc and 1 of those are needed for the editor to work.
Glad i didn't buy this game. We should just flood cheat mods into the game until it forces Bethesda to actually do something... Seriously... To code a game in this way is so irresponsible and stupid. I have seen indie devs setup their online games in less exploitable ways <_<.
So you're saying we should just all raid the White House because we think it's not protected?
Why don't we stop attacking the people making the game stable for beta, and start looking at the people looking to exploit it for their own gain. I can't even put through the ignorance of your comment just now.
Unfortunately, Gameguy123, i think you are a bit optimistic. There is a simple rule in multiplayer gaming: "what can be exploited *will* be exploited"; So arguing people should not exploit the game will not work. I mean, *at all*. All of this is on Bethesda shoulders.
I guess I am optimistic. But it's because I am a loyal consumer, and a fair player.
Seeing something as horrid as cheats on a website, designed to post modifications of content made by curators to have fun for everyone is a disgrace. This isn't some crazy elaborate campaign for someone to prove a gag that a companies beta has flaws, it's an upload to give himself and everyone else a selfish gain.
I love the fanboy mentality out of Gameguy123.. yeah dude it would be REAL hard for Bethesda to implement a server side file check, and not set up a place to accept scripts into the engine. This game was thrown together using old assets and an unfinished coop system to make a quick buck. You bought it and I feel sorry for you. Bethesda should fix their already-shitty game before it becomes unplayable, posts like this on their biggest modding portal will only serve to speed that up.
There is nothing at fault Bethesda has done, as of yet. Whatever severside anti-cheat they will implement will have to happen eventually.
I am not fanboying Bethesda for this game, I am only defending them with mercy that they have done something new to create a Online Fallout experience. Elder Scrolls Online was never bothered with with exploits, mostly because Zenimax a side studio developed the game. And Bethesda helped produce it, but this is a first step for them to create something new.
I have been enjoying the Beta so far, and I don't feel a percent bad of my money. I am enjoying the experience with friends and seeing the stories of lore it is telling. If people are having problems, I wish Bethesda luck to find a solution. I have stood by the Fallout franchise, not the company that makes them.
cant stop laughs Bethesda just dont care, this game just look like fallout 4 mod.. they fixed nothing serious since they have the engine, god there are still decade old engine buggs :/ As i see it,they again only stealed more modders ideas and added them to the game as they do allways...literaly every new game just add bunch of "re-created" mods and destroy more RPG elements I will definedly wait until i see they actualy fix'd something and some serious (not lover/hater) reviews before i even think about to buy this game, for the time being it seems unplayable from day one,no for how it looks or those akward graphical buggs that we all know from Beths games, but just wait those hackers ... its prety easy to modify the files on PC even i know how to do it. And to be honest if i want to play online game, not co-op this is pure online gaming ,then i want to have a shitload of peoples on the map to do serious PvP and hunt tons of enemys ... 24 players on 350km map dont seems enought ... well see
I mean, Gamerboy just stop. What is wrong with you dude? The game is an absolute mess. Why are you defending it? Would you be defending your local grocery store if they sold you rotten tomatoes?
I just want to clarify that Zenimax is not a "side studio", it is the parent company of Bethesda Softworks and Bethesda Game Studios. However, Zenimax Online Studios (ZOS) is the side studio you are thinking of. But because it is spear-headed by the parent company, there is a massive amount of total Corporate resources being pumped in to ESO. These two games can not be compared in their current states. For the sake of argument, the initial release of ESO would be a closer comparison to Fallout 76, But even that is a major stretch.
StealHelm, after the latest patch there is basically little to no performance problems anymore.
Technical wise, I'm sure there are many things to find and polish/fix. The hypocrisy of you and everyone who is bashing this game, solely because you are able to put a cheat mod in the game without issues is unacceptable. Eventually Bethesda will fix this, but no one can deny and neither will I. That we all use mods in their games, but to abuse our creativity and implement them in a fair multiplayer leveling-mmo should not be allowed.
In the end, someone will infact find rotten tomatoes in the store. And will be reported to never happen again.
Further clarification: Zenimax= corporation, Bethesda Softworks= publisher, Bethesda Game Studios= developer. This is why you see the Bethesda Softworks name on the Rage franchise. They publish the game for Avalanche and ID Software (both are developers). In the end, Zenimax owns it all.
Gamerboy, there never should have been performance issues.
You'd be right. There's a lot of issues here that need to be fixed - just like there always is - only this time it's not a singleplayer game anymore. There are, in fact, more things here to fix here than in all other Fallout games combined.
So you're saying it is hypocritical of people to show how bad this game actually is? You've had it explained to you on numbers occasions that the author made this to show how badly protected the game files are, and that there needs to be a fix for it before launch. Only that won't happen because Bethesda is so eager to push this half-assed game to people like you - who'd happily pay for it - no matter the state of the actual product. This is an absolute joke of a game, and it is astonishing how you could find it otherwise.
There's not a single game in the world that can't be abused. End of story.
"Eventually" is an optimistic word. That's what every Bethesda loving scrub said with Fallout 4's glaring issues, and yet it was left to the community to fix them. You sitting here and defending the game isn't helping Bethesda's sales. Everybody already knows how awful the game is.
You're absolutely right. It shouldn't be allowed. Yet, somehow, it is. Ever wondered how?
And no. Somebody will find rotten tomatoes. That person may report it, and it probably may result in a short-term solution. But as long as that particular store stays open, there's sure to be rotten tomatoes around.
I will just say this, everyone will have there own opinions, some will say the game sucks, some will say its the waste of money, some says its great, well its mostly cuz people are upset its not just another single player game, a lot is upset that its pvp which honestly I don't see fallout as a pvp game, like yeah I love fallout single player I loved it all this time.. but I actually wanted a co-op like 2-4 players yeah online not really but still fun can bring more friends along, but I always loved fallout wanting one I can play with my gf and friends is fun and I have actually enjoyed the game. so people commenting saying they are glad they didn't buy it cuz its s#*!, well I'm happy you guys did not waste your money on a game you guys think is s#*!, I've hardly lagged I've hardly had any fps before or after the update beta, a lot of ppl claimed it. Yeah I've seen bugs and don't reply saying there shouldn't be any, in Fallout and Skyrim there is always major bugs funny ones and I enjoy seeing some of them bugs in fallout76 like the power armor glitch, but major thing I wasted my time writing this is, everyone has there own opinions so stop arguing that one point is better then the others this is a websites for mods and stuff like that not to hear about if the game sucks or not, if you want to fight about it so bad take it to DM's or create a forum about it, don't bother replying back because the opinions I might receive good or bad.. well lets just say my opinion is no f*cks given.
I think a large majority of the people jumping on the hate wagon has not even played 4 hours of this game.
To end my statements, I think people should be informed of what the state of the game currently is, and create their own opinion based with the legitimate facts. I do not think this game is bad solely because it's a online Fallout game, the gameplay is enjoyable and the grind is very fun. In time the issues of player discomfort will be fixed.
If after a given 90 days that everyone tells me is still a problem with this game, then my opinion will absolutely change.
Gamerboy, as previously mentioned I have 0 interest in purchasing a broken game. I love Fallout. But I won't make up excuses/lies in order for me personally, and or somebody else, to like something.
You're entitled to your opinion, and I am truly happy that you find the game enjoyable. But the cold hard truth is that people exchange money for a finished product/service. And unless otherwise stated (i.e. that the product/service in question is still in development) this is the general expectation when purchasing a video game as well - especially from a major player like Bethesda - who posses all the funding a game could ever need.
Can't argue with that Steal, we can all agree with what you said. I would like to have my money on a finished product than rather not, lets hope Bethesda can keep their word.
Why the heck should we do this? Why should we ruin the game for others? Move on if you dont like it. Dont buy it, dont play it, but ruin the fun other might have with this game? Whats all this bullshit about we should go on a crusade against this game, because we dont like it? Just leave it be.
If anything Bethesda should be paying people to try to exploit their game so they can learn and make it more solid. Exploits serve to the growth of the game, not the destruction. I bought this game and after around 12 hours I have officially downed tools. Bugs galore I can handle but the actual game is not interesting. I lose focus for a moment on a terminal or holotape and my connection to the story fades. This game should be released on Audible and Kindle, not on PC. Back to FO4 for me..

Thank's for clarifying about both the studio's, It's as confusing as comparing Take-Two and Rockstar! :)

Though I have 40+ bobby pins after several hours of play, so I could afford to break them... a lot...
