Fantastic! Funnily enough, I made my own edit recently for personal use as I was really in need of a darker frame, this one looks like better quality though.
No problem! A lot of people will still probably use yours if their Power Armor is super dark, or close to black. Mine is just a bit brighter. And no, I used the base game textures, added a semi-transparent layer on top, and just adjusted curves, contrast and brightness with Photoshop. I did use your mod as reference for which files to edit without digging through all of the bsa's, as this is my first FO76 Mod. I'd be happy to add you as a contributor if you'd like!

About my mod being overly dark: many of my mods were made well before beth changed how textures/lighting work, before that darker diffuse maps were the way to go for proper metallic surfaces in conjunction with lighter speculars. Now it's different. I still haven't bothered updating many of them, so it is how it is unfortunately. These days I don't play the game nearly as much and I just don't use the majority of mods I made years ago, so I don't have enough incentive to update them :D
Ahh, I gotcha. I noticed in my testing that they still use diffuse and specular values in a strange way, at least in comparison to other games. Beth likes to be a little different, lmao. That, along with the drastic lighting changes in the game definitely make it hard to make something that looks good all the time.
