IMPORTANT! The real ghoul head will be displayed when you equip the Firemans Hat.
The mod will still work as it did previously so if you do not want to equip the fireman hat then you are still able to continue using the mod without the mask just like before.
Would it be possible to get this on the Bowler/Bowler Hat? Or maybe the cowboy hats? I find it weird that others probably see me wearing a fireman hat.
Honestly, this mod and every other one I've created lately has rendered me absolutely exhausted, mentally.
I may take a look into it if its an easy fix but no offense, I need to take some time off. If it works first try then I'll be sure to upload it but if not then this will likely be my last mod upload for a while.
This mod is incredible! Thank you for making it! How hard is it to add hats(like the cowboy hat)? I would love to see one with the military cap. Thanks again for making the mod!
Actually, it's extremely easy, if you're willing to spare a few minutes (might take a bit longer on your first time but it takes about 2 mins for me now).
Because I've already done most of the work, all you need to do is extract the ba2 archive i've created, find the firemans hat .nif in the "meshes/atx/" folder and then use this tool to import the firemans hat:
then, find the .nif you actually want to use (military cap in your case) and import that hat into the outfit studio too. the result will be both meshes combined when you export as .nif. then just copy that exported .nif back into the "meshes/atx" folder and rebuild the loose files as your own personal mod :)
I learned all this the hard way. Nifskope (ironically) doesn't export the nif correctly and displays an invisible mesh but the mod for fallout 4, does work for exporting and merging .nif files.
Just an FYI: I fully support and even encourage users to do this and give my permission for you to upload your own mods on the condition that you list this mod as a requirement. That way, all you need to do is create a .ba2 archive with my modified hat and upload it yourself. As long as your mod overrides my own, then the changes should take :)

Glad to help some people out until then :)
since texture mods and s#*! only apply to the people using the mods and no one else
this is can -> https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/19040 <- it's a base requirement for certain races in fo4
But I kinda give up on this mod when I couldn't get the face textures working.
It should be easy enough to create the female variant though! :)

digging thru all of this modding stuff, experimenting took me down as well.
no pressure, it just came to my mind
