This is absolutely the best overhaul mod I've ever seen! Running around in game with your upgraded textures makes it feel incredible, even down to the randomly found vehicles along the roads. Pair this with your other two mods Enchanted Forest and Spring in Appalachia, it makes the whole world feel like a brand new game! :D
Thank you for the kind words! I put an enormous amount of time into remaking textures for this mod, and honesly I can't make myself playing without it anymore :D
I'm not sure which mod it is, but I only use your mods for world re-texturing, and one of them appears to be causing crashes in Harper's Ferry! Like sometimes you can load in, walk forward torward the trains, and if you try to jump the fence, the game might freeze when the LOD goes to unload, since that's about where that cell starts. Other times, you may get all the way through that fence jump just fine, and other other times I will crash immediately upon fast traveling to Harper's Ferry lol.
I'm using: Appalachia Restored, Enchanted Forests - SIP Edition, Light Up Appalachia, and Spring In Appalachia
I wouldn't recommend using Light up Appalachia, as basically the better version of it made by me is already integrated in AR (with better textures and actual lights). Other than that I don't see any mods that might cause crashing in Harpers ferry, I definitely didn't have that issue running all these mods together (well, except light up Appalachia, which is pointless to run along with Appalachia Restored)
There is a person who actually wanted to do that, and he got a permission to use my resources several months ago. I'm on his discord server and unfortunately it's been quiet since November. Haven't seen any updates, screens, discussions, well, anything since then.
Love the mod, but I'm having an issue. With the mod enabled, I'm unable to interact with water purifiers in my camp in any way. I'm unable to even move or remove them in build mode. Disabling this mod fixes the problem. Any solution?
Is there a version that doesn't affect camps? I don't like that it ruins the aesthetic of my camp (it's designed to look like crap ha ha) but I love it everywhere else.
Sorry, but no. In order to do that I would need to alter an enormous amount of additional items to cover camps. For now I don't have nearly enough time for any modding at all.
I never planned any solution for this anyway, as the mod is designed to accomodate for as many clean objects as possible, not the other way around.
Can you add an indicator to doors we can't move through if that's an issue? Like perhaps stick a newspaper in the frame or add a window with a closed blind? Maybe add crime scene tape where the planks were removed? Or maybe add something to openable doors like a come on in sign? Or maybe add that to locked ones it would be funny.
Wait a minute, so you haven't tried the mod yet? I thought you were speaking from the point of actual experience. That changes my perspective on the issue then. Or not. You see, we haven't went forward on any decision about the doors just because we're still evaluating how desirable this option would be amongst our downloaders. And for now it seems that literally no one was bothered by the fact there are now clean doors in place of the plywood that has been there once. People just play with the mod and have a ton of fun with that completely new type of experience. This in turn makes us think that current system works just fine and it's pointless to prioritize spending a lot of time on a solution for the issue that isn't even there for the majority of our mod's users.
It's one of the reasons I've not installed it yet. I know it's going to kill me trying to go into interesting looking places only to find I can't. And I'm also going to walk past doors that I don't realise I can open. I've been playing for years but I'm 100% sure this will happen to me ha ha.
It's possible that your downloaders are fine with it, but some people know they're going to be a mess with it so didn't download for that reason too :).

Glad you liked the mod!

I can't wait to load up and see how the games changed but I am worried about those doors haha.
