Unless you have an aesthetical preference - Yellow variant offers consistently best visibility IMO... I don't play outside PA anymore, cause I got used to actually seeing enemies from "miles" away.
Why have Bethesda devs even decided to make the "unmodded" Targeting HUD pretty much useless is a mystery to me.
Yeah, i was like "i paid thousand caps for, this ? Aint no way it was like that in fo4" so i changed it and shared it. I'll make different colors too soon since sometimes even the red one is hard to see
It's definitely an improvement over the regular one because it is much more visible than the default! There are, of course, still the issues of the underlying implementation like it sometimes not rendering at all on an enemy etc. Not much that can be done there, I wager.
I did discover some issues with it on some enemies though. On Mole Miner Dredgers, for example, the overlay looks weirdly tiled, maybe rendered twice, over some parts of their bodies like their "skirts". Can that be fixed?
Thanks for the support! So I tried different things to make it work but it seems that's a problem with the Mole meshes because it happens even without the mod, it even happens when you use VATS on them targeting their body, for a second there "skirt" is highlighted.Nothing I can't do about it, if I had to guess, I'd say that they skirt and arms have a lower surface scale so the target textures take more space and highlight way more. Another issue I found while testing is that some armor part, specially mutants won't be highlighted until they take damage, that's how the games work so again, not many things I can do.

Can you make it see through walls like the effect of berry mentats?
