Thank you very much for this.It is kind of strange to wander in a world where there are quite a lot of locations with varied bird songs yet we see no birds in the wild other than owlets.I do hope you or someone else will make a variant of this that makes those bird sounds quieter by maybe 40%.
There's at least two abundant (in places) wild bird types "alive-in-game" in a couple other Fallouts. In 76 there's basically around four mentions of, or content with, birds:
2. Story Time Miss Nanny encounter. In her Hansel and Gretel story...a bird ate their bread crumb trail.
3. The random encounter "Ms. Nanny Rachel", she can offer you a quest to tag creatures and one can be, as she says, of the Ornithological variety. You need to have a recon scoped gun or "Pearly Peepers binoculars" in your inventory. Equip it so the encounter can progress.
4. On a note named "Bird watching list" there's a list of 16 birds of Greater Appalachia.Cheers Reflectively,BorderXer

the eastern cliff face of Seneca Rocks. "360 view" of the "Seneca Rocks vulture-beast".
Prior to Bethesda's finalization of the bat type Scorchbeast, vulture type
Scorchbeasts were among the concept art by Katya Gudkina Chiu
( much more from this superb Senior Concept Artist > under Katya's photo > links in Social Media section )
Working Vulture-Beast skeleton, mesh, and texture(s) exist in the game files.
( see it and more vulture-like Scorchbeast concept art )
