Thanks for bringing this to 76. My question. The music that is played in Fort Defiance. Choral, Bells Ringing, Creepy. Where's it from, what's it called (BB Minutemen)? I love it! Edit: I figured out how to access the xwm files.. The music I'm asking about is mus_76_dungeon_c_01 and 02.. Thanks
Great mod, but I have two questions. One is, why do the loose files compiled via Baka not work? And two, any chance of an option with some alternate FO1/2 tracks? I would have used City of the Dead and Industrial Junk for the Ash Heap tracks, and Underground or Follower's Credo in place of Acolytes of the New God.
Yes, I tried to make these changes myself but the game doesn't recognize the files Baka created.
Sorry for the delayed response... I haven't played FO76 in a while and haven't maintained the files since all the various updates. I need to take a peek at what's going on with the loose files--I'm on it!
As for the FO1/2 tracks, sure. Shouldn't take long for me to come up with an alternate version. I'll find the tracks you mentioned and see what I can do.
After considerable field testing, I'm personally pleased with where this port is. At the moment, the only change I've been thinking on is adding the "Minutemen" track to the port... if I do, I'd probably add it to the Cranberry Bog (daytime).
Question. When I was testing the mod, I found that the BA2 file occasionally failed to work as expected. Sometimes no music would play at all, sometimes the mod didn't load and the vanilla tracks would play, and sometimes it would intermittently work.
I re-published the mod because it seemed like this stopped occurring and it worked as intended during a test. A friend who installed the BA2 file recently experienced the no sounds outcome. Has anyone else been experiencing this?
To be honest, I'm not exactly sure what's going on with the BA2 file. The loose file version seems to work everytime without a hitch. The only theory I have is an "order" issue... meaning where the file name is positioned in the Fallout76Custom.ini is impacting its load behavior. I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone could confirm or deny the presence of this bug and even better if someone could shine some light on how to address the BA2 loading issue.
