Thanks for the awesome mod!! Just one question: I chose the template FULL_ALL_BuffTag_at_end but it only applies to comsumables, while weapons/armors still have the buff icon in the beginning. Is this intended? If so, could you make another template that also move those Buff icon for weapons/armors? Thanks
Before installing this mod, I had been using strings that I edited myself (manually) to add the amount of each ammo type that could be converted in the ammo converter enclosed in brackets [ ]. Could you (or anyone, for that matter) help me in making a set of rules to do this so I don't have to go in and add it again manually each time the game is updated? I don't care if you do it for me or link me to a tutorial showing me how to do it myself. Thanks so much in advance.
To use other strings mods with IconSortingTags, do the following: .1. Launch xTranslator. 2. Go to File > Load Esp/Esm and select SeventySix.esm 3. Go to FIle > Import Translation > XML files (xTranslator) and select your desired XML file 4. Select "Everything" and Use FormID references, then click OK. 5. If you have other XML files to import, repeat steps 3 and 4 for each XML file. 6. Go to Tools > Header Processor 7. Go to File > Load Custom Rules and select "HeaderRules.txt" from IconSortingTags. 8. On the left side of the window, under "Base strings to use as reference:", select "Destination", then click the Close button. 9. Go to Wizards > Header Wizard and follow the instructions from IconSortingTags
I have found some strings mods that still get overwritten using these steps, but it works for most of them.
Example for Tagged Rare Plans and Apparels. Also includes adding the font.
This will remove the icons from the plans. But you will have the stars and other symbols for plans. I do not use the XML ones by source for Plans and Apparel.
1. Launch xTranslator. 2. Go to File > Load Esp/Esm and select SeventySix.esm 3. Go to File > Import Translation > XML files (xTranslator) and select your desired XML file - Only import 'Apparel Tags - Rare.xml & Apparel Tags - Ultra Rare.xml. 4. Select Overwrite "Everything" and Mode "Use FormID references", then click OK. 5. Go to Tools > Header Processor 6. Go to File > Load Custom Rules and select "HeaderRules.txt" from IconSortingTags. 7. On the left side of the window, under "Base strings to use as reference:", select "Destination". 8. At the very bottom left of the same window, click "Change Font". Select the font. Only need to do this once (Helps with Visuals and Editing) 9. On the right of that, you will see "Run Processor". Next to that, select the rules you are going to use. THEN click Run Processor. Click Close. 10. Do a ctrl+F9 to show the fonts. Make any edits ect..
11. Then you now go into Header Wizard. a. UNCHECK CLOSE "xTranslator With the Wizard". b. Only Patch Files. You ran the processor already. c. Close Window
12. NOW import the the XML plans from Tag Plans and Apparels. This will overwrite the plans from iconsorting and just add the icons from Tagged Plans and Apparel. 13. Finish off with, File > Finalize STRINGS
Update from 10/10/2023. Tested on xTranslator v1.4.5, and the latest one 1.4.14-alpha. The same error after I hit 'Run Processor. The header from [SeventySix.esm] is unknown. Do you want to try to load this file anyway?
I press 'YES'. xTranslator shows the red border in main window and yet proceed. After that I see icons in game. I'm not sure what's missing, but so far I didn't notice anything. Tho may worth to check.
