this mod does not work I had this mod before can not cell any thing or buy any thing I took this one off they need do change were can not drop your stuff even get killed in battle an scrap every thing even guns an sell stuff.
Even tho it prevents trading/vendoring, THIS MOD IS STILL A MUST HAVE if you care about your gear. I just lost a TSE AND a normal TS combat shotty. Both vanished from my pack. Not "accidentally" transferred, or dropped, I know better. The game likely lag-bugged out and nuked it. I immediately reinstalled this mod because f*** that. I'd rather manually disable it when I need to vendor or trade versus suffering more of Bugthesda's crappy code. If I had lost my AAE I doubt I'd keep playing. This mod is important, someone please take up the candle and fix it for trading/vendoring!
Author probably doesn't play anymore. Have to hope somebody takes up the baton and releases a new version.
This is not directed at you, deaden84, just in general: Users of mods should always be aware that the authors on this site are not professionals, they do it because they want to and no end user should ever feel entitled to anything from them past an initial release. They stop playing, have issues IRL and (God forbid) this ever happens - they die! - Life gets in the way.
The good news is when a mod becomes 'abandoned' somebody somewhere usually takes up the challenge and keeps things going. Just have to be patient.
Loved (and endorsed) this mod. The occasional nuisance of un-favoriting items to allow sale far outweighed the permanent pain of a critical items loss (I'd have made aid items not affected, but I'll be grateful for the safety it provided, granular or not). Just tossing in my experience, gratitude, and fervent wish to see this mod updated and compatible with the latest mess...er, update from BGS. If it doesn't happen (I understand time constraints all too well) I still thank you for a good run and your prior generosity.
