I love this mod, been using it for months now. Any plans to make a mod swapping the Chinese Stealth Suit with the Pink Assaultron? Thank you again for making this mod, it looks and plays awesome.
Sorry for the delay, I've added both versions to the optional files. I haven't play tested these outfits so if something goes wrong, please tell me to I can fix it.
That's strange, just play tested with the whitesprings file and it was white. You should definitely only have one file active at a time, if you have two files enabled at the same time, one of the files would override the other file. If I had to guess what was going on, you might have forgotten to disable the main file (green assaultron) so that file would be overriding the whitesprings assaultron file (try removing any other versions of the mod from your data folder to make sure fallout 76 isn't loading the mods without your knowledge.) If this isn't the problem you are having, then I'm not sure what is wrong.

Do u know if it would work with a mod already changing the appearance of the ranger armor ? ( i use the black and gold mod) can you help me out please ?
A quick look at the black and gold mod and it seems to overwrite the texture for the ranger elite armor. This means that if you use the suggested method of changing the stealth suit model to the ranger armor model, it would use the black and gold textures. If you wanted it to have the original texture, you would have to copy the original textures into a new folder (ie textures/custom/[texture files here]). Then you would have to copy the original materials files & modify them to use the new copied texture files (can use material editor for that). Then you would have to replace the stealth suit model with the ranger armor model and modify those files in nifskope so the models use the copied materials instead of the original materials file. TL;DR - it is possible but would require you to create a second set of texture files and to edit the ranger mesh files.

Ah, if you don't want to revert to the original, then the process is a bit simpler. 1) Use BAE to extract the files for the elite ranger armor. It should be something along the lines of rangerarmor_elite, or something like that. Knowing what armor corresponds to what can be kind of difficult, especially if there are reskins. A quick review of .nif files, if it ends with _f, that is the female version of the file, _m is the male version, _first or _1st is the model used in first person. _go is the mesh that you see when examine the item in pipboy. 2) ?From what I know, the ranger armor has a separate mesh for the body and for the gloves, however for Chinese stealth armor, it is all one mesh. You would have to combine the body mesh with the gloves mesh in nifskope. 3) export to the right path for chinese stealth armor. IE for the male body you would export to Textures/Clothes/Chinesestealtharmor/chinesestealtharmor_m.nif. 4) After exporting all the meshes to the right files, compress to a BA2 file (I'm a novice so I just use a mod loader)
Sorry but it gives me vertigo i don't know what a mesh is and still cant find a way to start nifskope let alone even conceive with my primal brain what combining implies What would be the files for the gloves ? (the one from the first person ?) there is no exe in the file i have downloaded from nifskope any chance you could do it in exchange of any kind of support ? I hope i am not bothering too much but i am sure a lot of others would love to use such mod If you have a link like a patreon or something let me know :)
Made the mod, not sure if it's what you want, also don't want any support, this is currently just a hobby. I plan to upload it on nexus, however for some reason I can't upload the files to nexus (have no idea why it won't let me, will try again tomorrow). Until I manage to upload the mod on nexus, you'll be able to access it from here (assuming you trust that it's not a harmful file Now updated to nexus mod link).

Fixed the issue, was using standard ranger gloves (which are meant to have those holes) instead of advanced ranger gloves. Updated version of the mod can now be found on its nexus mod page (yay I got it working)
I've tried a bit with super mutants, however the body proportions (long arms and fingers) made it hard for me to assign body parts correctly leading to absurd looking models. While it would be possible to fix manually, I'm not willing to dedicate the time needed to do so. For non-feral ghouls, I should be able to replace all humans with ghouls (that way you can have a ghoul face and still have expressions/be able to talk). If I get a human replacement mod working, I'll upload it.
