Tonight on my Twitch stream I'm going to show how to replace the Grey Pip-Boy texture with this instead AND I'll attempt to replace the light color.

Tried to download but WinRAR says "the archive is either in unknown format or damaged." Wat do.

If I wouldn't see it on every single person, I might have downloaded this. Good work creating a beautiful skin! And the first one of it's kind no less!

Yeah there is ZERO way around that until we get the ability to create plugins which won't be for a while yet.

You could replace a atom shop skin (Grey comes to mind since it's the cheapest)....

Yes, I may do that. I was thinking about doing so.

First Pip-Boy skin to use a ba2, yes... This, however, is not the first Pip-Boy skin for F76 on Nexus. The first Pip-Boy skin for F76 was for the B.E.T.A and required direct modification of a texture bsa - at that time, no mod categories were available (it got lost to the ages).

Also, never actually thought of changing the asset of a Atom Shop skin, Interesting idea...

I'm going to release a version soon that'll replace your choice of the Atomic shop skins. I have the whole apparatus to make is stand alone, but there is no .esp support and we cannot connect with an edited .esm

Just a thought but I'll be careful by sharing this type of mod if I was you. Using Atom shop assets (even if it's not released at the moment) could cause some trouble.

It would appear to me that this is no different than when we mod/retexture vanilla assets.

No, there is a difference. You're using assets that are normally only accecible (in-game) via the Atom shop and so by extention this is technically paid content. That's why it might be problematic.

I mean, you said on your mod description that it was based on an unreleased texture of the Atomic shop, so I assumed that you extracted the texture from the Atomic shop BA2 archive. But maybe you meant that you created the skin for the pip-boy and took inspiration on the said unreleased skin? I could have misunderstood :P

I've modded tons of CC stuff before. Meh, we can agree to disagree.

That's different. When you mod CC content, you have to get the related CC content in order to use the mod. In the case of using Atomic shop skins (for the vanilla pip-boy), I will believe it's basically doing asset flip as far as I know.

Honestly, I've have no problem with your mod, I just wanted to warn you about the possibility that it could be problematic.

Yeah, it is just that everyone already has all the assets in their .ba2s.
