About this mod

(+ New options 12/29/21) Bobbleheads will now constantly emit beeps which are detectable from far-off distances. There are many sound effect options to choose from.

Notes:
  • The main "BobbleBeeper" file is required in order to function. The optional files will change the sound.
  • This is absolutely a cheat mod.
  • The Crybaby sound option is the one which I use.
  • BUG - Affects all bobbleheads, including those displayed on Bobblehead Displays. I recommend reducing the sound on headset while visiting camps. I have tried a bunch of different things and it looks like this issue cannot be resolved without real mod support. The function that allows the bobbleheads to appear on display is forced by the .esm file. Nothing I can do.
  • BUG - I cannot give the items individual sounds at this time without changing player-facing assets
  • BUG - A fair bit of these sounds are choppy, play too quickly or slowly. I don't know how to edit XWM audio files. If you know how, hmu.


Install instructions:
In your Fallout76Custom.ini, add "BobbleBeeper.ba2" and up to one optional file on the line:
