Cab you please share customized Fallout4-Texture-Compressor-3.0 for FO76? I'm trying to run it on F076 BA2 files just to apply compression without resizing and getting weird results :), if you have a working patched version of this tool please share with the community. Thank you!!!
Thanks for your work on this mod. It's really helped a lot with running multiple instances. At first it worked so great that it actually made my performance a lot worse. My CPU was dishing out more FPS than ever which really bogged down my system but then I limited the FPS in NVIDIA's control panel and everything has just been awesome.
Colors can surely differ a bit - BC1&BC3 provide the best compression - at the cost of color manipulation, that is reducng the number of colors used. Whatever was possible to convert to BC1&BC3 - was converted into them.

Thank you very much for this mod Unis0L.
BTW, to have ones post removed that was created by accident, or have NexusMods remove an old post of yours you don't want showing anymore: 1.(if you want) Edit your post. (you can delete the everything, except at least one character) 2.Click on the[(!)REPORT]button. 3.Add at the top, something like: "Please delete this post" (have a problem creating the original post? -Maybe report about it, with some details, in the message) 4.Send it.
Would be neat if there were a version we keep some colors. My blonde chick character has black hair now and it's very difficult to see anything on the ground. I'm not sure how much of a difference in compression it makes though. I actually have an amazing GPU, Quadro P5000, I'm just using this mod to increase frame rate running multiple instances. I have a feeling that for me rocking blonde hair and seeing the ground (I can see, just really dark) would be worth the performance adjustment
Nevermind on the hair and ground. It just took a minor bit of getting used to on the ground and on the hair I realized that there was only support for the vanilla blond or red, but not the other shades of blond and red.
In the instructions where it says what to paste in, ResourceStartUpArchiveList is not prefixed with an s on the first line, but it is everywhere else including the original 76 ini. Was that an oversight, do I add the s prefix to it? I feel like that's what I should do.
I'm not sure what I'm commenting out in the original 76 ini. I commented out the original line that has textures01.ba2 since that's what we're replacing (textures01 - 07) but the lines in the original 76 ini with GeneratedTextures01.ba2 also have ba2's listed that aren't replaced by this mod, so I'm supposed to just selectively remove GeneratedTextures01.ba2, etc, out of those lines, right?
The "HiRes" part consists of 6000+ textures to hide the ugliness - and it's still not enough (I run both 64x64 and 256x256 for comparison, while most of the differences are walls&stones - there are still critical cases where I didn't find the textures yet, like vault boy cutount in the camp). BTW, it's possible to play on Ultra as the textures are small anyway. I've screwed up the scoreboard, "again" - uploading a fix and an updated hires archive. I'm writing an F76 recompressor (absolutely ugly coding) that does all the things automatically (3 texture resolutions+exceptions in hires done in one pass) - but it can't guess what's the last season :)
Also, seems it was a bad idea to not have the proper resolution interface files in a separate archive - w/o the hires part many things may look seriously bad (like notes/treasure maps and so on).

Very useful for when I don't have access to my rig but still want to play FO76. Thanks for making this!

You mention how to edit the ini but I have no idea where I'm packing the .ba2's at.
