So, I have a question here. First... this mod is absolutely necessary. Bull barrel uber alles!
Second, if this is possible, is it possible to replaces meshes and textures of outfits? Ie, could we replace an in-game outfit like the military fatigues with a full armor Fallout 4 mod like The Rebel?
yes you can easily replace meshes, the problem comes with textures, as of right now we have no way to load the meshes into nifskope, once nifskope is updated we will be able to bake in our own created meshes and textures.
I extracted the nif from the fallout 4 files, then renamed it into 44barrellongnif and 44barrellongnif_1, since the textures and materials for the bull barrel were already present in the 76 files, and the original fallout 4 nif file already references to the correctly named bgsm file for the bull barrel, I had to do nothing else.
thought it was odd this wasnt an option for the revolver by default. I'm gonna use it, makes me think beth is gonna go for a cash grab on gun mods in the future. I hope I'm wrong. thanks for this.
oof I didn't even think that weapon mods outside of skins could be considered cosmetic. I would guess you MIGHT be right or they are holding it for plan "content" later on down the road.
I don't think they will, because weapon mods aren't just cosmetic, especially since you have to unlocks each mods one by one now. Unless they decide to go against what they said about what will be available in the Atom Shop, in this case anything is possible I guess...
Great mod, I found it weird why they omitted the bull barrel in this game, nice to see someone worked on restoring it. Also what dress is you character wearing?

And I assume we only see them on our end, right? Like, my team isn't going to see my The Rebel armor?
