I appreciate the enthusiam and intent behind this mod but the final FOLON name "Lewis Gun" is better. I've been into military history for over 50yrs and no one goes around bothering to use those longer Lewis names outside of the writing on a label in a military museum. And the British name for a blunderbuss should indeed be Blunderbuss and not Junk Flint Lock Rifle. Furthermore, flintlock is one word and is not really the British name for a musket - a flintlock is just a type of ignition mechanism on many muskets. A musket is a British term.

Some of your other choices seem a bit odd. For example, how on earth is the British name for a crude shotgun supposed to be "pipe shotgun"? And the name Lee-Enfield should be hyphenated and no one in Britain will bother calling it a "Lee-Enfield Service Rifle" but just a "Lee-Enfield" or at most "Lee-Enfield Rifle". Also, few here would use the name "Webley Service" for the revolver but would just call it a "Webley Revolver" (and the pistol a "Webley Pistol"). Things like "Service Pistol" and "Service Rifle" are classes of weapons and not weapon names (at least not here). And if indeed it's the carbine version of the Martini-Henry, a "Martini-Henry I.C.1" would just be referred to as the "Martini-Henry Carbine".

I do, however, very much like your idea of adopting Bren and Sten (yet surely they would just be called "Bren Gun" and "Sten Gun"). But it seems to me that your mod concept isn't really all that focused on British names as such but varyingly exploring more precise or accurate or just alternate identifiable descriptors for the models seen in-game - and that's cool - but if so, maybe you should consider renaming the mod?

yeah i am not a gun enthusiast and know little to nothing about guns or gun history, the choices for the names come from the FOLON EditorID's which have these names listed as such, maybe i shouldn't have called the mod with their "British Names" as in the mod description i wrote "British Names (Test Build Names)", however, i'm all for better suggestions if you have more correct names for the guns

Nice, but I'm pretty sure the Service Revolver is actually a Webley–Fosbery Automatic Revolver. I'm anticipating some excited squeeing from Jonathan Ferguson when he reviews some of the FOLON guns; I'm pretty sure the "simplified Sten" is in there (and isn't just a half-brick  in a sock).

The Battle Rifle is not the FN FAL. It's the L1A1, the British variant of the rifle.

The full name L1A1 Self loading rifle (SLR) or just Self-Loading Rifle would be neat.

The Mauser in the games is supposed to be the Chinese replica of the Mauser, the C.96 or "Box Cannon."

Jonathan Fergusen of the Royal Armouries is doing a pair of videos on YouTube on the guns of Fallout: London, in case you haven't seen it.

The "Lewis Gatling Gun" should be the Lewis Automatic Machine Gun or Lewis Automatic Machine Rifle.
