Hi, someone know if they going to fix the beer mats not appearing in the Perks category? only a few appear there, I wonder if they know about that because I don't see that in the changelog of version 1.03 and I can confirm that I don't see a lot of beer mats in the PERKS
If you're manually installing you have to enable the esp by going into User/AppData/Local/Fallout4 and adding *BeerMatsFix.esp to plugins.txt. You can get there quicker by hitting the Windows key and R and typing %localappdata%.
Think im just gonna stay clear of the rest of them. Besides, later on when the mod is next gen compatible and in a year or two when there is more mods available i will be doing plenty of playthroughs :D so will collect them then
this command did not work for me on the GOG version with auto install. this mod was the only thing that did....to bad i hadn realized i was bugged in GUN damage, as well as MELEE damage until id finished the game... although i suppose i can go back and select a different choice of faction which should change the outcome of the story now...
I found the Beer Mat in The Hound at some location, but after entering this command in the console, I get a message that I don't have this perk and can't remove it, even though I actually do have it and can see it in the perk tab in the Pip-Boy. Installing the mod also doesn't work.
Thanks for this, super helpful fix, hope the devs get an update out soon. Im not using a mod manager, is this fix fine to manually download? Is there anywhere specific i'd need to install it to, the data folder for fallout i'd assume?
It should go in to data folder with all other .esp and .esm files. But you have to activate my file before starting the game and I don't know how you can do that without mod manager.
I think any added files need to be added to a loadout ini file or something if a mod manager is not in use, and for that I suggest Mod Organizer 2 for sure. Vortex if you're really hard up, and NOT NMM.
I think you have to go throughthrough the path:users/steamuser/app data/local/fallout4After I added the name to the plugins.txt file and DLCList.txt fileIn plugins.txt I had to add an "*" in front of the file name to enable itI'm not sure which .txt file worked, but one of them did it for another mod that had to be enabled
I don't have a scoped gun, so I can't tell if it works yet
Jozuaa you were sort of on the right track, im using the GOG version so the steam file path threw me off, but, by going to C:/Users/YOUR_USERNAME/AppData/Local/Fallout4/Plugins.txt and adding the full 'BeerMatsFix.esp' to the .txt with an '*' at the beginning of it, it had loaded in game and my damage is back to normal no mod manager required! Hope this helps anyone else who's stubborn as hell like me and does things manually!
Hey thank you for the explanation unfortunately it still doesn't fix my damage after adding *BeerMatsFix.esp to plugins.txt would you know why ? I'm using gog version aswell thank you Edit: Actually i managed to find out why i put BeerMatsFix.esp into the fallout london folder and it didn't work then i moved it to fallout 4 goty and now it works like a charm
In windows search bar you can type %appdata% and it'll take you to the folder even if it's hidden, from there you can make a shortcut to the folder you're messing with.
thanks but got that but i now get to local theirs no fallout4 there is a gog which go to galaxy then a plugins but after that theirs 2 files downloads and installed both empty so still no idea where to put this i tried the console command thing but nothing changed :-/
Kinda stupid question, but how can i check in reliable way if this worked? I downloaded this mod because i struggled with legendary wombat. But iam not sure if it worked or i just got lucky/better. OK, nvm i think it worked. Thx for the mod.
I'm unable to figure out how to update my game, whenever I try to run the patcher from GOG's website it can't find the installation so freakin frustrating AND I can't install it from the GOG installer because I had to install it using my laptop at my library because my home internet is garbage. So should I install the first version on this mod? I'm confused on what the others are for and I'm desperate because the game was great until I picked that stupid thing up. I had so much ammo saved up and I've just completely ran out. It took me a while to even make the connection haha. Thank you
All you should need to do is download the patch...then, hit UPDATE when you run the game...afterwards, you need to DELETE (3) files that all begin with BAKA - (should be in your date folder for fallout 4) delete those and then run the game per usual and you should be good to go (some people said they had a .bat file - but i never did) here's their official instructions...
Update Fallout: London in your GOG library
Press Play
Press Update in the Fallout: London Launcher (Follow the instructions from here)
Navigate to your Fallout 4 Data folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data - OR - C:\GOG\Fallout 4 GOTY\Data
Double click on 'LondonWorldSpace - ClearUp.bat'
This bat file will remove any redundant files that aren't needed anymore, so don't forget to do this. And that's it for the Fallout: London V1.01 patch notes, but if you're experiencing issues that aren't fixed in this update, don't worry, as there's an even bigger patch coming soon.
having vortex add this mod has my game now permanently loading up in sanctuary in some basement behind a house vanilla fallout. Starting a new game from fallout london intro screen has me see the folon intro cutscene but then loads gog character creator of vanilla fo4 even though I bought fo4 from steam. Ive now lost 4 hours into the game because of this. THose were hours of blood sweat and tears that getting as far as I did when a half dozen head shots wont bring a raider down. I actually really been enjoying the broken difficulty but Its disappointing I cant even play now
No reason this mod should cause that. I assume when you load a save located anywhere in London it warns you that LondonWorldSpace.esm and LondonWoldSpace-DLCBlock.esp are missing?
I had that issue when I first installed FOLON through Vortex. Make sure LondonWorldSpace.esm and LondonWoldSpace-DLCBlock.esp are enabled in the Plugins tab in Vortex. For some reason, Vortex had FOLON enabled in the mods tab, but didn't enable the relevant plugins.
I'm not sure it's not bugged since description does not say how much it increases pickpocket chance. Beer Mat perk multiplies pickpocket chance value by 3. I also like to increase pickpocket chance by a lot in Fallout 4/New Vegas/Skyrim/Oblivion so it's actually useful without save scumming; maybe FOLON devs got same idea so it's intentional.
sure, but that boost seems completely obscene, considering the fact that there Is A Pickpocketing Perk. i feel like 3x pickpocketing chance HAS to be an error because its far out of the realm that the other coaster buffs give

edit: I tried with and without "beer mats fix" after 1.02 patch update, I see no difference in weapon damage. I'm not certain but it seems to be fixed
But unfortunately does not work with a manual install, I have tried. If anyone finds a way then let me know..

This gets rid of the Combat Perk. And you will have your damage back to normal. I advise you not picking up any of the others if you find them.

so i dont know where to put this
ie: C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData
Each Beth game seems to use different locations and this is the first one that used the User/[Name]/AppData path.
