Just putting out an idea. What if the enemy check your disguises every minute or so, and there’s a percentage for the disguise check to fail. And legendary enemies and dogs has higher percentage of detecting you. Mimicking the guard, higher ranking role from new Vegas. This may be too complicated than it needs to. Just think it’s neat.

Thanks to the idea to unpack the BSA from pwwhdr70 and CactusBurger as a way to resolve this issue.
Update.
So far the following apparel/armor works as a desiguise to do so and you can kill members of that faction without being attacked (still havent tested the others).
Jack Tar uniform (no head piece required) Syndicate Suite (not working on Pinstripe or Syndicate Armor) Beefeater/Cannibal oufit (no head piece required) Hooded robe (Cultist)
Sadly the Hooligan Chest piece does not work with the Hooligans although its registered as worn.
at first the mod didn't work at all but when I extracted the scripts from FDS1.2.ba2 and deleting it worked.
semi-incompatible with FOLON Gear Expansion Project mod, tried to patch it didn't work, armors converted to clothing wont be marked as disguises but hooligan chest & gatherer hood do work.
Yep this mod isn`t working. Is there any requirement for this mod to work? I also checked in Xedit a bit and In the disguisecheck Quest area it says to have a disguise check script, but the script is nowhere to be found within the esp. Dunno if I misunderstand anything.
It`s not working for me. I`ve tested it on a fresh save and made sure it`s loaded last as well.
The BA2 file is greyed out in my archive tab in MO2. Is there ways to fix this. I`m assuming this is why the latest version don`t work.
edit: after unpacking the ba2 files and putting them in, the faction disguise popup message only appear in the top left corner. That and the disguise don`t work. I`m still being shot on sight.
Sry for the trouble 😵💫 Ive tried so many times creating the archive for the mod and creation kit always fucks it up.. I don't know what to do anymore to get it running I thought that the archive file I've finally got out of ck would work.
Nah it`s alright. This mod is still great. If someone can get it working and enhance their experience, that`s a win. This isn`t too essential for me anyways. I like being chased away in this game. Feel powerless compared to other fallout title.

1. Use BAE to unpack the .bsa
2. Delete .bsa
That's it. Works perfectly now. I am walking amongst the syndicate goons and they have no clue.
I can confirm that this mod does inded work but needs a bit of tweeking.
1. As suggested - unpack the ba2 and place the contents in Data/Scripts folder
2. Open the Fallout.ini and place the following wording "FDS1.2.ba2" in '[Archive] ' as per the below
