Big update up with all requests so far, except for discrete sliders for ambient and combat music. As far as I can tell this isn't currently possible, but is on my to-do list once the GECK arrives.
Keep the suggestions coming, and I will try to add them.
Awesome, thanks for trying on those. I'd love to be able to turn up the volume on holotapes so I can actually hear them, as well as "clutter" radios, so hopefully that stuff can be added in the future. (I'm kinda surprised that Bethesda didn't notice that in beta testing...)
Ah same here, stuff not saving, I wasn't sure if it was something I did or not. I thought maybe some thing was set to "read only" but from what I could find no, it wasn't.
Looks good, but... where is the slider for gunshots? Literally the one slider that every single player would want to adjust, but it hasn't been included.
I have officially moved on from Nexus modding. All of my mods are free to use, modify, patch, compile, etc. however you see fit, just credit me. I will not be responding to messages - do whatever the hell you want, just don't ask me!
Apparently "adjustable ui" won't let you adjust the menu UI, which is the reason why I had to look into this sort of mod. If you stick with the vanilla sliders you either can't hear literally any sound in the game or you get a concussion from "pressing any key" at the game start, because some moron in bethesda thought greeting players with "THUMP!!!" would be a marvelous idea. Rename the mod to "adjustable in-game ui".
Well that really bums me out. That's exactly the reason I was looking at this mod. All the sounds that are made when you're using a crafting bench drive me insane. I mute the game any time i have to work on my weapon or armor or anything. Ugh!
This is amazing. The Geiger Counter sound always annoyed me, but the fog in Far Harbor takes it to a whole new level. I also enjoy using headphones, but I was going insane with the near constant ticking. Since I'm perfectly capable of seeing the huge, red, icon indicating that I'm being irradiated, I don't have to listen to that awful noise anymore. Thank you.
is there any way you can add a slider for the protagonist voice volume, I've always thought the player volume was incorrectly made in this game, regardless of audio options 2.1 sound or 5.1 sound... changing the "voice volume" in the settings only changes ALL, not separate for some reason..
VATS being way too loud for my ears, both that star trek door whoosh when you pop it up, and that almost unbearable target BLEEP! I was just getting to the point of learning how to use the mod tools just to lower or change that bleep targeting tone especially.
Your mod does it, and then some! Oh thank you, wherever you are! Ahhhh.
Hey man some of these aren't working for me, I turned General all the way down still getting experience sounds ui, and discovery sounds. Pip-Boy sounds doesn't seem to work either. Some things do work like Heartbeat, Geiger Counter and Lockpicking but others don't so I am confused.
I've got the exact same issue here, with the added issue of the audio settings being reset upon relaunch of the game
The only sound mods I run currently are ones pertaining to the radios, added tracks etc.
-Reneer's Radio Mod- http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8962/? -this one allows for volume/channel change of the radios(un-install made no difference). -Personal Radio STANDALONE- http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8676/?
I did however run a two mods before this, one to remove perks menu noise, and the other to remove the xp gain sound, both were removed completely prior to installing this mod.
-No Sound On Perk Menu- http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2841/? -No more cash register sound when XP gain- http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/100/?
Any help would be great as I love the configurability of your mod
