Purple color in game means it misses/can´t read textures.
Have you activated fallout for modding? If not check below... If you have activated modding as below, which frame/plating did u install?
For OLD (can cause long load times) solution: in "c:\users\YOUR USERNAME\documents\my games\fallout4" In file Fallout4.ini the line sResourceDataDirsFinal= must be edited to: sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\ For videoguide check -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kq-VZAumD-o
For the new recommended solution: in "c:\users\YOUR USERNAME\documents\my games\fallout4\fallout4prefs.ini" following line must be edited/added [Launcher] bEnableFileSelection=1 AND in "c:\users\YOUR USERNAME\documents\my games\fallout4\fallout4Custom.ini" following lines must be edited/added [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= For videoguide check -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgUbpIzdpGY
I first tried using Blue Clear glass but i just had invisible armor then I tried Rippled glass frame and that is where i got purple I haven't tested the rest yet For some reason Paladin Danse armor is looking exactly like it is suppose to Edit: the rest of the Frames were purple edit again: only the frames are having problems
Also BOS-frames used separate frame. Possibly also same for scribe.
uploaded new version of rippled which should fix the issue + version which also alters BOS-frame (left scribe-frame for now, as i don´t if more actors than Ingram uses that frame).
man sorry about not replying university stuff happened, anyways the update kinda fixes it, the frame looks as it should until I get in it then it returns to a normal frame, well at least it looks nice while i'm out of it edit: well it works perfectly normal now after opening fallout 4 a second time
Is there any way to change the outfit the player is forced to wear under the frame? No matter what you're wearing when you enter the suit, it always seems to default to road leathers when the suit model takes effect.
A possible shortcut, would be to replace the texture for raiderunderarmorM with Another texture that fits that .nif - havent found any yet, the alternative i tried to make was worse than the original : )
The best best way would be to replace the male raiderunderarmorM within the powerarmorframes nif with a cbbe. But thats way beyound my skills and knowhow
Ah, gotcha. I guess this is just something that requires the creation kit before we can fix it.
This is a very neat idea though. Reminds me of the summon armor mod for Skyrim. In this case, seems like you can almost do holographic power armor or something like that!
You will not be able to see any other armor under the frame other than raiderunderarmorM - possibly if you replace that texture with a texture that fits the nif corresponding to raiderunderarmorM that would work.
Unless some kind soul takes it upon themselves to switch out the included body within the frame to a cbbe body : )
Oooo yeah I once had a weird glitch where my suit was invisible or something - anyway I was stuck in the power armor body. It's quite unpleasant. The author here had to work some magic to make this look normal so yeah, your uniform won't really show.

Edit: so paladin Danse doesn't have the same problem as me

Would be awesome to see my uniform under the armor.
