Anyone that uses this mod, please endorse it as this [no longer cut content] is a long-standing series of projects and Crygreg finally got it in a decently working condition. Mods like this need more attention :)
OMG thank you! I was thinking about the original mod the other day and came here to see if anyone's made any fixes or patches for it but sadly there was nothing there for me. This couldn't have come at a better time. I look forward to see any further updates you have planned for it.
Nice to see the Combat Zone has not been forgotten. I've always believed this Cut Content was way truer to Cannon than what Bethesda gave us. Plus it at least gives Cait a more decent starting home to return to if you don't want to rehome her to a settlement.
Is Karma a hard dependency for now? Or can it be cleaned out of the plugin possibly? I'm able to use the old Combat Zone with Restored Restored mod in VR. Works OK for me. But Karma and its dependencies come with F4SE Plugins that may not work in VR. So, I'll probably wait if you're going to remove them, or maybe if I can shoehorn some time in and try to see if Karma works in VR.

You just vaguely said "optimized code".
What did you improve upon that was not already in the mod? You can participate in the fights with no problem there, although I never did figure out how to just bet on fights instead.
I was unaware there was anything that needed fixing other than giving the vendors voiced lines, letting both the player and the enemy fighter use lifts at the same time [instead of enemy first, player second], or small delays in AI processing of how to actually spawn in and get to the lift.
If everything worked for you, that's great but a lot of users reported issues with the original mod and this is an attempt to fix all of them (and expand on the content at the Combat Zone in the future, possibly).

It works like a charm, too. Dumped it into a PRP heavy StoryWealth collection and it just worked. Looked everywhere but nothing was broken. Still gotta actually play it more but I imagine it'll be fine. Gotta say, it really felt good to walk in there and experience things the way it was (mostly) meant to be.
