    This mod will never be ported to console, unless silverlock team manage to port F4SE somehow.
    This mod is an F4SE plugin and won't work without it. That's why it is not possible to put this mod to bethesda.net.

    If you have beta-version of game and love to use this mod, but it is not available for beta yet - you have two options:
    1. Roll back to non-beta game version and play until mod will be available for beta
    2. Play on beta, but without mod.
    In either case - please, DON'T write your complains about mod not-working in beta and continiously ask 'WHEN???!!!".
    Mod will eventually be updated OR there will be a notice if I decide to stop support this mod.

    For those who can't make mod running or mod stopped running for some reason or some functions of mod doesn't seem to work:
    1. Find out your game version (main menu->settings->lower-right corner)
    2. Check, that installed F4SE AND mod match your game version.
    3. If step 2 is ok, then post f4se.log anf place_plugin.log from Documents\My Games\Fallout4\F4SE dir. To be sure the logs are latest, remove them before starting game, they should be recreated. Put your logs between [Β­Β­Β­Β­Β­spoilerΒ­Β­Β­Β­][Β­Β­Β­Β­/spoilerΒ­Β­Β­Β­] tags if you have any mods installed, otherwise your post will be too big and unpleasant looking.
    For those, who have CTD:
    1. check if CTD still happens if Fallout4 run without f4se. If it does - it's not a problem of this plugin.
    2. If you still think, that this plugin is cause of CTD, then, please, post in bugs section, be more informative: what did you do, when CTD happen, in what place it happened. Also post your mods load order and send me you last save before CTD.

    Very good and helpful comment by VIitS:
    One thing I did a while ago is set the permissions for my steamapps\common, Documents\my games\Fallout4, and AppData\Local\Fallout4 folders (as well as all subfolders/files) to Full Control for Users(xxxxx\Users).

    It means I have never had to run xEdit/CK/f4se/Fallout 4 in administrator mode, and never have to worry about old log files blocking new ones from being created.

    Any idea when the feature to toggle object physics will be back? Getting increasingly defeated coming into the saloon after a long time away from Sanctuary only to find all the meticulously placed objects thrown all off the tables.

    Besides that want to say thanks! Great mod, makes it much easier to build complex stuff without spending a long time trying to get glitches to work just right.

    I think there might have been a mistake.
    the file for game version 1.10.980 is archived for some reason so I had to go through a long archive retrieval process, I got the file now but please reupload it for all users, no reason to archive that specific version from what I can see. thanks for the mod!

    So, I tried a lot but I can't get it to work (I mean, working again, it did in the past).

    My game version is v1.10.984.0.1 (Steam)
    My F4SE version is 0.7.2
    Place Everywhere is 1.10.984 - latest release

    I have copied place_example.ini to place.ini. I have deployed my mods again.

    When placing a wall, Ctrl doesn't change axis. I can't place on red. Numpad keys don't raise or lower objects.

    The mod is at the bottom of my list of vortex mods, so I assume it's loaded last?

    Thanks for any help.

      Are you starting the game with f4se_loader.exe?

      Yes, I have now, from the game's installation directory but it doesn't seem to help with placement.

      Sounds like this mod isn't your problem, more of a symptom. Normally I could give you some advice, but with the NG update, I'm a bit removed from whats what as far as compatibility on the back end. What I can tell you, is everyone I know thats  playing FO4 ran this Downgrader, and have had Zero problems using old mod lists, or adding new ones. One thing, just make sure if you use it, you read the entire first page of any mod you use (something you should be doing anyways) to make sure there isn't some kind of compatibility kerfuffle, and in over 500+ mods between my different types of Mod lists, I haven't run into any yet. There may be a few times where you have to run the "previous version" of a mod, but with 1.10.163.0s popularity right now, I haven't run across a mod yet that excludes me. In fact, quite the opposite, running the new build will limit your choices. This will change eventually, people went through this in Skyrim, when Bethesda split everyone up with the Special Edition, but most everything caught up finally. When and if FO4 mods all get updated and squared away, with 10.984.0.1 being "The" only version to use in everyones mind, all you have to do is hit verify files in Steam to update your game, then purge your mod list, and look for updates for each mod as you add them back in.

      P.S. TheLitch is right, and only and always start your game from f4se_loader.exe, You can make a shortcut so you don't have to swim through File Explorer to get to it, or link to it and start it through Vortex up at the top of the app.

      I must have removed an offending mod, because I get a proper F4SE log written that shows that placement is also loaded.

      Now the keys work as described. Great mod!

      It's not entirely clear what the culprit was, unfortunately.

    Objects not placing outside green area, Far Harbor. 

    is it not possible?

      i dont think this mod expands the buildable area. f5 will disable the countdown for being out of bounds but thats all.

      place desired object inside green area, press f5 to disable out-of-workshop coundown, pickup object and move it to desired place outside green area.

    I heard so many good things about this mod, that it was "essential" to use. I delayed installing for some reason. Now that I have, I don't know why I waited. It's every bit as good as everyone was saying. Thank you!

    Hello.. Maybe I'm a bit slow here but...I had older 1.10.138 and I updated to 1.10.163. That's the version settings now says I have.. Also, my f4se is odd.. I have been playing with different versions.. I have one that launches and all mods work fine, 152 to be exact.. Lol. Now, every f4se says either too old for my fallout or my fallout is too old for f4se.. I stuck with version 0.6.17... Anyways, point is I can't get this to work.. I renamed INI.. Objects don't place anywhere, toggle mode does not work.. Please help bro. I'm usually good at directions,but I can't get this one, and yes, I've back read threads lol. I'm stuck. Thmx everyone

      1. if you can't install correct f4se, then this mod will not work.
      2. if you have 1.10.163 game version installed, then you need install f4se 0.6.23

      For some reason my NMM was launching game with regular exe. Once I manually launched from from f4se every single mod worked..smh. Crazy man.. And the error I was getting was looks menu out of date, I thought it was f4se. All is well. Only issue I'm having is a mod not yours. I'm loving this bro. Wow. I really wish I would figure out why nmm keeps launching from regular game exe.. No issues though. I just shortcut on desktop. Literally everything works! Thmx bro, you and everyone who makes mods and helps out in comments..now if I can just get help creating shoes with outfits..lol. I am horrible in bodyslide hahah

    resizing doesn't seem to work, 9 makes the scaling step go up and vice versa with number 3, don't know what to do, need help asap

      bummer. i accidently bumped some buttons and the actions all went weird. i restarted the game and all was good. i am sure that is not your issue but would recommend reviewing the settings options, TONS of Help on Description page (what buttons do what and be sure)
      i have no other advice. my brain is damaged so trouble shooting is more challenging these days. also i lost my 'tech speak' so i tend to confuse as much as help sorry and good luck

    i thank ye for the update. was so very glad.😸 it was working fine last week but now 'INS' doesn't Seem to activate Extra items anymore. with the 'forever wait' on workshop 'readiness' i used to be able to activate extras and simply restart the workshop... but waiting 45 - 100 seconds for the 'lag' to find it not working is a real bummer. could be this mod, could be PRP, could be just The Rebuild AIO mod. (note: these few are the mods that got added before it stopped. there are other situations but random) it's a head scratcher. πŸ˜• i no longer use scrap mods as this will do All i need. not sure what's up with it but any advice would be great. since Aurelianis has disabled posts for Rebuild, i can't ask there. (might just have to dump that one if it is the prob)
    love this mod and worry that Bethesda's wonderful programming is still F* messing with things. πŸ€«πŸ€­πŸ™ˆπŸ™‰πŸ™Š

    I struggled with the mod due to a mix-up in the instructions. (And my small brain)
    They mentioned a configuration file named place.ini, but I only found a place.dll file.

    I canΒ΄t see the file extension on my pc, so i assumed they were the same file.

    I mistakenly tried to edit the .dll file, which didn't work. (Of course)
    So I replaced the place file with place_example.ini as instructed, and, of course didn't work.

    Is it needed for both the .dll and the .ini to be named exactly the same?

    To avoid this confusion for others (with small brain).
    I'd recommend renaming the DLL or the INI file to something different if possible. =D
